80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 4
Adrienne and Billie Joe walked down the side walk holding hands. Billie Joe couldn't have been happier. He wanted this moment to last forever. There was the thought in the back of his mind that he had to go soon, but he didn't want to spoil the moment.
"Oh man you have to leave soon don't you?" said Adrienne looking rather sad.
"Ya, I do." said Billie Joe sadly as well.
"Look Adrienne I really like you and I want to keep in touch. Can I have your phone number and we could stay in contact?" asked Billie Joe hoping she would say yes.
"Oh course I feel the same way." she said writing her phone number on a piece of paper. She handed it to Billie Joe and they continued walking. They were almost back to where the show was.
"Billie Joe were did you go?" asked Tre running up to him, "Hey that rhymed Billie Joe where did you go?" Tre found this amusing.
"Um me and Adrienne over here went to Star Bucks."said Billie Joe.
"You guys drank coffee for 2 hours?" asked Mike lifting his eye brow.
"Ya we did." said Billie Joe.
"Okay, um cool." said Mike.
Come on Tre let's finish up packing everything." said Mike pulling Tre away he understood Billie Joe wanted to be alone with Adrienne.
"I didn't know we were in the coffee place for 2 hours." said Billie Joe looking at Adrienne.
"Me neither. I guess that they're right when they say time fly's when your having fun." said Adrienne.
"Ya now I'm a believer." said Billie Joe.
"Do you believe in love at first sight?" asked Billie Joe.
"I didn't but now I think I'm becoming a believer." said Adrienne.
Billie Joe and Adrienne moved closer. They kissed a shiver went down Billie Joe's spin. He had this feeling go through his veins that he never felt before he felt like as if Adrienne was by him nothing bad could ever happen and that the world was perfect, and all his trouble's were gone, there was like there was some kind of force field that no one could touch him or make anything bad happen.
Tre kind of broke the moment.
"Billie we really have to get going." said Tre
"Okay, give me a second." said Billie Joe.
"Well Adrienne I have to go as much as I don't want to, but I promise tomorrow after we perform I'll call you." said Billie Joe
"Okay I'll be waiting." said Billie Joe.
Billie Joe gave Adrienne a kiss on the check and got in the van. He watched Adrienne until she couldn't be seen any longer in the darkness.
