80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 7
"Hm which way did I come from?" Billie Joe asked himself scratching his head. Billie Joe walked around looking for anything that looked familiar.
"I don't remember any of this shit." said Billie Joe " I wasn't paying attention I kept on thinking about Adrienne."
Billie Joe walked around all over. "How can i get lost in small ass town?" Billie Joe said to himself.
"Hey asshole forgot we had a show?" It was Tre yelling out the window of the book mobile.
"No I got lost." said Billie Joe climbing in the back of the van.
"And you can't find your way back?" said Tre.
"I'm not a fucking dog Tre." said Billie Joe.
"Anyway." said Mike cutting Tre off with what he was about to say.
"Did you find a pay phone?" asked Mike.
"Ya, I got a hold of Adrienne, but I got cut of by the operator because I ran out of time and I didn't have money." said Billie Joe.
"Hey there's the pay phone was at." said Billie Joe "Let's see how far I was." said Billie Joe.
Tre started laughing "You got lost 4 blocks away from where our show is your such a dumb ass." said Tre laughing at him.
"Sorry Billie, but it is kind of funny how can you get lost 4 blocks away? And end up trying to get back and end up even farther?!" said Mike.
"Ya ya laugh your asses off." said Billie Joe.
"We are." said Mike and Tre.
"I had stuff on my mind." said Billie Joe.
"Adrienne." Mike and Tre said together.
"Ya." said Billie Joe.
"Man Billie you must be crazy about this girl." said Mike "It's like your mental and your brain is all scattered or something."said Mike.
"I am crazy about her Mike I can't stop thinking about her." said Billie Joe "It's like a disease or something."
"Hey that sounds good." said Billie Joe. Billie Joe took out his notebook and wrote that down. Billie Joe had another song in mind, but he only had that part down.
"Maybe it will turn into something."said Billie Joe.
"Man he keeps on talking to himself." said Tre.
"I hope he gets to see Adrienne again soon because he's freaking me out a bit." said Tre.
"Oh ya I'm suppose to meet her tomorrow in oh wait we got cut off by that damn operator. I'll find out
I'm calling her after the show."said Billie Joe.
"Speaking of the show we need to get ready for it if you want a place to sleep and eat tonight." said Mike. That was pretty much how Green Day got paid was a place to sleep for the night and something to eat, really the only money they made was any merchandise they sold at shows.
Billie Joe went and tuned up his guitar "Blue" and Mike tuned up his bass while Tre set up his drum set.
"Okay Billie now you remember the set list right?"asked Mike.
"Ya I remember it." said Billie Joe laughing.
They went out and played a sick show at a bar and then in some basement at a stupid high school party. This time when Billie Joe called Adrienne he didn't have to worry about getting cut off because he called on a house phone. Billie Joe dialed Adrienne's number and waited for her to answer....
