80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 8
"Hello." said Adrienne answering the phone.
"Hi Adrienne its' Billie Joe."
"Hi Billie, how was the show?" asked Adrienne
"It was good. We're staying some dude's house." said Billie Joe.
"I see, so this time I don't have to worry about you getting disconnected by an operator?" asked Adrienne in a joking way.
"No." said Billie Joe laughing a bit.
"So where so you want to meet?" asked Billie Joe.
"Um well there's a town that's about half way between where you guys are and where I am its called Prinston." said Adrienne.
"Okay that sounds awesome." said Billie Joe extremely exited about seeing Adrienne again.
"Wait where at? "asked Billie Joe.
"Um how about at another Star Bucks then we'll just figure something out when we get there." said Adrienne.
"Okay that sounds good." said Billie Joe.
Adrienne and Billie Joe talked for awhile about everything, music, how they grew up, Billie Joe touring, random stuff. About an hour later Billie Joe kept hearing this banging on the wall.
"Adrienne hold on some ass hole keeps banging on the wall." said Billie Joe "I'll be right back."
Billie Joe went to the next room over to see Mike on top of some chick. They were having sex obviously.
"Holy Shit." said Billie Joe closing the door.
"Um hi Adrienne I'm back." said Billie Joe.
"So what was it?" asked Adrienne.
"Mike having sex with some chick, something I really don't want to see again." said Billie Joe laughing.
"I'll bet." said Adrienne laughing.
Adrienne and Billie Joe talked for about another hour when the dude that owned the house told Billie Joe that he needed to get off the phone.
"Adrienne I'll see you tomorrow around 12:30?" asked Billie Joe.
"Ya 12:30. "said Adrienne.
"I can't wait." said Billie Joe.
"Me neither." said Adrienne.
Billie Joe and Adrienne said goodbye. Billie Joe went to go to bed thinking about what Adrienne was doing right that second. What would him and Adrienne be doing this time tomorrow? Billie Joe went to sleep thinking about Adrienne.
Billie Joe woke up early that next morning. Hey got up went to go find Tre and Mike. He found Tre passed out on the couch of the living room of the house they stayed at. Apparently Tre got wasted the night before. Surprisingly Billie Joe didn't and well god knows with Mike.
"Tre come on wake up." said Billie Joe shaking Tre.
"Holy fuck earthquake." said Tre standing up.
"Billie stop yelling." said Tre running around.
"Tre there s no fucking earthquake and I'm not yelling your so hung over." said Billie Joe. Billie Joe went to go get Mike he knew where Mike was he just didn't really want to go in there. Mike was in the same place
Billie Joe saw him in last night.
"Mike wake up." said Billie Joe shaking him.
"What?" said Mike with one eye open.
"Come on we hae to get going." said Billie Joe throwing Mike's clothes at him.
"Why?" asked Mike stretching.
"Because I'm meeting Adrienne today remember?" said Billie Joe.
"Oh ya that's right." said Mike.
Billie Joe left Mike so he could get dressed. He back to find Tre back on the couch.
"Tre come on let's go." said Billie Joe trying to get Tre back up.
"What's wrong?" asked Mike.
"I can't get Tre up." said Billie Joe.
"Ya he got really wasted last night." said Mike.
"Really I couldn't tell." said Billie Joe sarcastically.
"Nice." said Mike "I'll help you we can cary him out to the van." said Mike
"Okay thanks." said Billie Joe.
Billie Joe and Mike carried Tre out to the van, this time Tre thought he was flying.
"So Mike what did you do last night?" asked Billie Joe in a joking way.
"Was that you who walked in last night?" asked Mike.
"Maybe." said Billie Joe looking at Mike in innocent looking way.
"I take that as a yes." said Mike.
"What did you do? I take it you didn't get wasted or anything." said Mike
"I was-" Billie Joe was cut off.
"Talking to Adrienne." said Mike.
"Ya." said Billie Joe.
"Of course." said Mike.
They were about an hour away from where they were meeting Adrienne. Billie Joe was so excited he couldn't wait to see Adrienne again. It felt like each minute was taking hours.
