What's Up With This Place I Call Home?, chapter 1

Me and my friend were walkin out of Ocean County mall when it started raining. I looked up and started yelling and running for the car. "Oh my God this is the worst day ever!" My friend Katie looked at me and just laughed and opened the doors to the car. She shook her head and looked at me."Why don't you ever look on the brightside of things?" I turned to look at her. "the brightside, how is there a brightside to this?" I said givin a spectic look. "Well, at least now your dumb boyfriend won't force you to watch him and his friends play basketball now 'cause it's raining." I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "What?" Katie said wit out lookin at me. "Nothing just drive". We got home and ran inside of my house her house was accross the street and well she just came over. We walked in and the house was quiet which was werid 'cause normally the guys-- meaning our boyfriends and their friends would attack us as soon as we walk in.
