My Wild Night With Green Day, chapter 1
Warning - This story may contain strong language and sexual senario's, so reader discression is advised.
"We really need to go to the Green Day concert." I whined to my best friends, Catherine Stokes and Roberta Jackal.
"I don't want to go. Green Day are clowns." Cath replied with a mock shudder. "I hate clowns."
"I agree, we have to go. But the show's next week, and we don't have tickets... " Bob sighed. "Maybe we should go and see the new werewolf flick, Cursed 2, that hits theaters on the same day as the concert, instead."
"Yeah maybe." We were hanging out in our school library during lunch on the 4th of October, 2005. "Cursed 2 looks awesome." I added.
"No thanks. I'm not into scary stuff like Vampires or Werewolves, or Clowns."
"Oh really, Cath? I thought you liked the Vampire Chronicles, and the movie version of Interview with the Vampire, or was that just for Tom Cruise?" At that exact moment, the bell rang.
"Well, I'll see ya after school. I've got Science."
"We've got Math. Ya, We'll see ya."
I hurried off to my Biology class, and entered to hear some of my classmates talking about the concert.
"So anyway, my girlfriend is gonna be outta town and I'm grounded, so I cant go to the concert at all. I don't know what to do with my tickets and back stage passes."
Interested, I moved closer to the conversation. The guys ignored me, like usual. I'm the class ghost. Except during discussions, cuz I'm also really smart, and make connections easily. I bet a lot of my classmates would to, if they weren't so busy being LD and disruptive. The joys of attending an LD school.
"I already have tickets." Replied the only other girl in the class, Veronica Fernandez.
"I'm not really interested." Evander Bonasera added. "I'd rather go see Death From Above, 1979 in concert."
"Ok. I still need someone to give the tickets to." Ian Smith sighed.
"I wouldn't mind going." I casually added, causing everyone to jump. Evidently they had no idea I was standing there. I'm usually to shy to start a conversation or to join one like that, but I really want those tickets.
"Oh, hello Bastet." Evander greeted me. "I didn't here you enter the room."
"You like Green Day?" Ian asked me.
"I love them! And I have someone to give the other ticket to."
"Who?"
"Bob."
"Bob also likes Green Day?"
"Yup. In fact, she's the one who got me hooked on Green Day. And Werewolves." I added as an afterthought. "But those are topics you don't want to mix."
"No, I wouldn't think so." Ian sighed, and gave me the tickets and passes, just as the teacher entered the room. I went to my usual seat beside Evander, and tried to focus on the lesson, even though my thought were split between the boy I was sitting next to, and the concert I was going to. Most revolved around going to the concert with Evander. But if he's not interested, then he's not interested.
Finally, the bell rang, and I hurried of to my Options class. I was in Drama with Bob and Cath, the only class we shared. I'm a year behind my friends.
"Hey, Bobby, I have something for you."
"What do you have?" She looked confused.
"Close your eyes, and hold out your hands." She did and I put her ticket into her hand, after hanging her backstage pass around her neck.
"Ok, you can open your eyes now."
Her jaw dropped when she saw the ticket, and almost fainted when she noticed that pass. "Where did you get these?"
"Oh, from a boy in my class. Ian Smith had the tickets, but couldn't use them, so he was giving em away, and I managed to convince him that I was the gal o give em to." We spent the double period discussing the upcoming concert, and what it would be like to go backstage, only getting to work when the teacher threatened us with timeouts.
The day of the concert dawned warm and sunny. Since it was Saturday, I was planning to go shopping with Bob for new outfits to wear to the show.
I arrived at the assigned meeting place, the mall's food court, 10 minutes before Bob did. After eating, we wandered around the mall for a while, searching for the perfect outfit to wear. I was planning to go for sexy, yet not to revealing. Finally, we ended up in a shop specializing in Punk/Goth clothes. They were having a Green Day sale.
Browsing the store, I finally settled with a black leather miniskirt, fishnet stockings, a black halter with the American Idiot heart grenade on it, and a black spiked dog collar.
Bob also got one of the collars, but that was the only thing our outfits had in common besides color scheme. She went for black jeans with a couple chains on em, and a black t-shirt with Mike Dirnt's face on it.
"Ok, now all we need are shoes."
"I was planning to wear my black knee high boots."
"Ok, but I still need something." Bob replied, dragging me into Payless Shoes. 30 minutes, and one half crazy store clerk later, Bob finally found a pair of boots she likes. They were black ankle boots.
"Did you have to drive that poor clerk crazy?" I asked as we left the store. Bob just shrugged.
Back at home I put my outfit together, and spend 5 minutes staring at my self in the mirror. The effect was perfect. My top showed of the very top of my breasts, which are on the large side to begin with, but I didn't mind. Along with the clothing, I wore blood red lipstick, with a matching nail polish, and black eyeliner. My waist-length chestnut hair I pulled back in a simple ponytail so it wouldn't fall into my face.
I was bouncing-off-the-walls hyper with excitement when Bob arrived at 6:30 to pick me up.
"Ready to go?" I nodded, and, after grabbing a red handbag which contained my ticket, backstage pass, and makeup, we raced out to her car.
"Ok, settle down you to." Her mother scolded us in an amused way.
"This is my first concert." I told Bob when we were in line to enter the Saddledome.
"Really? Cool."
"Tickets, please." Requested the ticket girl in a bored voice. We gave her the tickets, and hung the backstage passed around our necks.
"Please follow me. There's a special seating area for those with backstage passes." The special area turned out to be the middle of the front row. Exchanging a surprised look, we settled in to enjoy the show. The opening band wasn't all that good. I was half asleep with boredom when Green Day finally came onto the stage.
"Hey, Calgary, how are you doing?" Billie Joe Armstrong greeted the audience. Before waiting for an answer, he went on to say some other things, before introducing the first song, Holiday. Following Holiday was American Idiot, Jesus of Suburbia, Are We The Waiting, and St. Jimmy. Then they took a quick singing break.
After the break, they played Basket Case, Longview, Brain Stew, Jaded, and King For a Day. I nearly fainted when King For a Day ended, the performance was so good, and sexy.
They then took another break after which the boys played Shout, She, Hitchin' a Ride, Knowledge, and Wake Me Up When September Ends. I was surprised when Billie began having sexual interactions with the stage during Shout, and almost fainted during Hitchin' a ride when he faked an orgasm.
They're encore songs were Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Homecoming, Minority, and Good Riddance. I was shocked to discover that the concert was over. Except for singing Rock n Roll Girlfriend, Tre hadn't said a word all night, only drummed.
Not sure what to do next, I stood and looked at Bob. "Good show, now what?" I asked.
"Hmm... not sure." She replied, looking around.
"Everyone with backstage passes, over here!" Someone called using a microphone to be heard over the noise. Looking around, I saw that it was Billie. We headed towards him, and he waved us through into what looked like a sitting room.
The room contained 6 loveseats, 3 sofa's, and a couple chairs, all made of high end leather. I sat on one of the loveseats, and soon found Tre sitting next to me. Bob was sitting on one of the sofas next to Mike. When the other guys arrived, I realized that Bob and myself were the only girls in the room. After settling himself on Bobs other side, he opened the floor to questions.
5 hours later, everyone else except me and Bob had gone home.
"Hey, do you two gals wanna come spend the night with us?" Billie asked us.
"Sure." We replied simultaneously, and rushed off to call our parents. My mom thought I was staying at Bobs, and Bob's parents thought she was staying with me, so we were free to spend the night with Green Day.
