"TRE!" Mel shouted.
Tre jolted his head around an saw Mel standing there, he could see the tears streaming down her face.
"Tre please don't do this" Mel begged not daring to get closer in case Tre jumped.
"Why not? You wouldn't care"
"Tre you know thats not true"
"You promised you wouldn't tell anyone, you lied"
"Well they were going to find out sooner or later"
Tre just stared over the cliff, he stared down for a long time. He felt a hand press on his shoulder. Mel leant over and whispered in his ear.
"Its going to be ok"
Tre realised then, he didn't want to jump, he wanted to make things better. He turned round and pulled Mel into a hug as she was crying more than him. He wiped the tears of her face. She smiled up at him and pushed a strand of hair out of his eyes.
That moment it seemed like something in both of them clicked, all those years of hiding there feelings from each other , neither of them could take it anymore.
Tre leaned in a gave Mel a passionate kiss, Mel was suprised but reacted well to the kiss and massaged Tre's tounge with her own, neither of them wanted the kiss to end.
One, because it was such an amazing kiss, and two they knew they would have to talk about it afterwards.
Mel slowly pulled away from Tre, they just stared into eachothers eyes not wanting to break the gaze.
"Mel I love you" Tre blurted out, in his head he had rehearsed how he had wanted to say it but that didn't matter anymore.
Mel wrapped her arm around Tre's shoulder and slowly whispered "I love you to" into his ear.
Tre smiled his trademark smile, ine that hadn't been seen in months. He held Mel's hand and led her back to the house.
When they opened the front door they were greeted with hugs, kisses and tears.
"Tre you'll get through this" said Mike.
After a cup of tea and a few more tears Tre decided it was time for a speech.
He cleared his throat and everyone looked up at him excpetantly.
"Guys I just want to thank you for all being here for me these past couple of months. I know I've been a pain to be with but I want to change that, this cancer isn't going to beat me, heck what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I know with all your support i'll get through this. So yeah thanks for being there for me, especially Mel" Tre finished.
The others clapped as Tre sat down next to Mel and smiled, right then everything was good, nothing was going to get him down.
Mel smiled as she noticed Tre was falling asleep on her shoulder, she ran her hands through his hair and suggested he should go to bed. He smiled and trudged upstairs, Mel said she would be there after she got another drink.
In the kitchen she bumped in to Claudia who smiled at her.
"So are you guys staying here for a while?" asked Mel.
"Well if Tre doesn't mind........"
"Of course he won't he's just happy to see you and Frankito"
Claudia smiled at her.
"So are you and Tre together now?" she asked, desperate to know.
"I guess we are" Mel said smiling broadly.
"I'm glad, he deserves someone like you, someone who can love him how he deserves to be loved. I really hope you 2 last longer then I did with him"
"If you don't mind me asking, what did happen to you and Tre?"
"I got lonely while he was on tour, I couldn't help myself" said Claudia looking ashamed of herself.
They continued to talk for a bit and Mel decided to go see Tre. She said goodnight to Claudia and walked up to Tre's bedroom.
She stripped down to her underwear and crawled into bed next to him. He wrapped his arms round her and they both fell asleep.
