And Love Said No, chapter 8

When Mel woke up she rolled over excpecting to see Tre there, but the empty space told her he must be downstairs, she walked down the stairs and into the kitchen everyone was there, except Tre.

"Hey has anyone seen Tre?" asked Mel.

"We thought he was with you" replied Billie.

"I'll go look for him" said Mel as she slipped on a comfy pair of jeans and a top, she walked all around Tre's house to look for him, it was massive but lucky for Mel she knew her way around. She looked high and low and was about to return to the others when she heard a shuffling sound in the study, she gently opened the door and saw Tre just staring out of big window, the whole wall was clear so you could see right out onto the bay, Tre just stood there.

Mel watched him for a while he didn't move one bit, he just stared out of the window looking down on the bay. Mel pushed the door open a bit further and Tre turned around, he smiled at her.

"How long have you been there?" asked Tre pulling Mel into a hug.

"A while, what were you doing?" asked Mel curiously.

"Just looking I guess, saying good bye, who knows I might not be around to see this place much longer" said Tre with a deep sadness in his voice.

"Don't say that Tre, you will get through this I promise you" said Mel hugging Tre again.

Tre smiled at her, she took his arm and lead him to the breakfast table where everyone else was already tucking into there meals.

"I made you a bacon roll" said Adrienne handing Tre a roll.

"Thanks but I'm not hungry, I'll just take a walk down the bay if no-one minds?" said Tre as he walked out of the house and down the steps.

"I'm really worried about him" said Mike.

"We all are" said Billie looking round at the concerned faces.

"We just need to trust Tre to live his life and make the best choices" said Sarah.
