We Are 'Mighty' What?, chapter 2
Tre bursted out laughing. Mike and Billie were shocked and Jason was, well Jason was confused.
"You must take me seriously Rangers. This may be a shock to you all but... "
"But what about our careers? We are rockstars! We can't have double identities. Plus we can't fight the scum of evil or whatever you guys call it." Yelled Billie who was pissed off.
"Calm down Billie Joe." Said Zordon.
"Yeah Billie, calm down!" Said Tre who poked his tongue at Billie, still holding his beer.
"I am now taking you to the command centre. Hold on rangers."
Before anyone else could say anything they were traveling through air surrounded by static colours. They arrived at the command centre. There was silence but not for too long as Tre blurted out. "OOOoooooooo! Its that robot dude" pointing to Alpha 5. Tre ran up to the little robot and hugged it.
"Ei yi i! Hello Frank! Nice to finally meet you" it screamed.
Tre screamed back at it, "Its TRE!"
"Ei sorry Tre!"
"Could I your attention please." All eyes were now on Zordon. "Can you please outstretch your arms." The four of them did so and coins magical appeared in their hands.
"Look I got a funny looking bird!" said Tre showing Billie, Mike and Jason.
"Yes Tre, you have a bird, it is called the Pterodactyl. Would you mind demonstrating for us how to use the coin. After the count of three hold up your coin in front of you and yell out the name of the Pterodactyl. Alright 1, 2, 3."
Tre nodded. "Pterodactyl!"
Tre was transformed. Just then there was laughter.
"What? Don't I look good?"
"You... Have a skirt!" said Billie trying to hold in a laugh.
"Cool! Hehehehehehe!"
Tre undid his helmet and took it off. "I look so attractive in pink! Don't you agree Billie?"
"Urgh, Tre get it off. Demorph or something. We are going, we are not going to do this shit."
"Awww Billie why not? I can now fight! Fight, fight, fight!"
"Tre!"
"Billie" Tre was now pleading with Billie.
"Well I say yes" said Mike.
"Yeh me too!" agreed Jason.
"Well Billie what is it? Please say yes!"
Billie couldn't resist the pressure he was under and gave in.
"Alright. Fine. What is my damn thing I gotta say to morph?"
"I am so happy you agreed to join us Billie Joe. Now hold out your coin and say Green Dragonzord! And Billie you are the leader of your team. Don't let them down."
"Great fun" murmured Billie to himself in an unhappy tone. "Green Dragonzord!" he yelled as he held his coin out in front of him. He slowly but quickly morphed into the Green Ranger.
Billie pulled off his helmet. "I hate to admit it but this is really cool."
Zordon instructed Mike and Jason to do the same with their morphers.
"Tyrannosaurus" yelled Mike
"White Tiger" yelled Jason.
They then transformed into their ranger outfits. Mike'shad a golden crest thing over his chest like Billie's and Jason had a golden one that wrapped around him.
"Hey! How come I get a skirt and you guys get golden shield things? No fair." Gasped Tre.
"But Tre think about it. You are the special one out of all of us. You are different." laughed Mike.
"Thanks for that Mike. I will never forget that I am special" Tre said as he rolled his eyes.
All eyes were now fixed upon Zordon in the blue tube.
"Rangers, remember in case of danger, morph with your coins, your sacred creatures spirits will be with you always as they give you the power to defend yourselves."
"Ei ei ei! Zordon don't forget the transporters. Here rangers. These are your transporters to get you from place to place."
"Cool. Does that mean I can get into a movie without paying?" said a very excited Tre.
Everyone ignored Tre. Billie then asked, "so we can come here whenever we want?" Zordon nodded. "Alright guys we better get back. We got a big day tomorrow. Thanks Zordon."
"No thank you Billie Joe. Thank you for helping me bring peace into this world. And one other thing, do not tell anyone you are a ranger."
"Our pleasure" replied Mike.
With that they demorphed and transported back to the hotel with their transporters.
"Did that just happen?" asked Jason. "I mean is this a dream?"
"We will have to find out in the morning," replied Mike.
"I don't know about you guys, but I am going out for some fun. Who is coming?"
"I'll come with you Tre."
Billie and Tre headed out the door. Then there was a "wait!" Both Billie and Tre turn. It was Mike. "Hey guys you forgot your transporters and morphers." "Right, thanks!" sighed Billie.
They headed to the elevator.
"Hey Billie, why don't we transport? It will be a lot quicker!" Tre was jumping up and down with the pleading look including innocent eyes. How could Billie resist this?
