The Best Day Ever, chapter 1
I was getting ready to go to the arcade with a bunch of the kids in drama when my cell rang. I looked to see who it was... it was my friend Brittany. "Hey. Brittany, what's up?" "Ciarra, I ain't gonna be able to make it today... doc appointment." "Ok, I'll see you in school then." I was about to leave the house when my mom said she had 'big news'. I opened the front door to see Green Day, my idols, standing there. My jaw dropped and I fell to my knees. Then I got up and ran to hug my mom. But then she said, "That's not the big news". I was like "Ok". The Tre said,"You're gonna go on tour with us for the next 2 years starting today.".I was so physched!! I couldn't wait! But I asked them if they could hang out with me and my friends today at the arcade and then have pizza. And they said sure. So we went to go to the arcade but the Tre started to put his hair down so people wouldn't regonize them. Then they all put their sunglasses on. They all said at the same time, "Trying to avoid fans and paparazzi." I was like, "Ok, cool." Then we all jumped into my black mustang and went to the arcade.
We had a blast. Then I told everybody who the 3 mysterious people were. They didn't go as crazy as we thought they would. So we went to go get pizza... but when Billie ordered veggie pizza every body except for me, Mike and Tre stared at him. Then me, Mike, and Tre said at the same time, "He's vegetarian". So they all went alright. We got done about an hour later then I told everybody the news I found out earlier. Then Billie said, "You can bring along 2 friends and 2 friends only." I was like, "Ok.. uh... Richard and...ummm...Maggie."
So about an hour and a half later Maggie, Richard and I were done packing and were so excited to get away from everybody who bugged us. We went to my car and drove up to the airport where we met the band. My mom drove with us so she could take my car back to the house. We all said good-bye and got on the plane. Me and my friends all loved to fly. Then Maggie and Richard fell asleep about 20 minutes later. So I went to sit with Mike since Tre and Billie Joe were also sleeping. I said "Is this seat taken?" "No go ahead and sit down" Then we started talking and we arrived to the Cali airport about an hour later. We woke up the other 4 and went and got in Green Day's limo. Then out of nowhere in the dead silence Richard yells, "I-DA-HO!!!" and we all busted out laughing.
Then Tre was like "Get a brain..or at least act more better than that." Then we all started laughing....even Richard was laughing because he hardly took anything seriously. So when we arrived at the hotel, Tre went to the bathroom to put his hair back to the way it was because he felt wierd without it being spiked.Then Mike showed us to our room and it was HUGE!!! Then about an hour later we all fell asleep.
