The Best Day Ever, chapter 2
The next day, there was a knock on the door and then someone yelled "Get up potheads!" It was Billie Joe. So I got up and opened the door to let them in. All of our necks were hurting because I was sleeping upside down on the couch, Richard was laying on my feet and Maggie was laying diagonally on the other side of the couch. When Mike and Tre saw the other two just lating there awake, they both said, "How did the hell could you guys sleep like that?!" "We were watching Cat in the Hat and we all were watching in a wierd position and then we fell alseep like that" "Oh ok... wierd way to sleep but ok." We all got dressed and went to this cafe and ate breakfast. Me and Mike were the only one's to get coffee. We weren't hungry.
Then, we all went to where they were gonna play and it took a while but the did sound check as all bands and singers are to do before every show. The concert began around noon so until then Tre taught me how to play some of the songs on the drums, Mike was teaching Maggie, and Billie Joe was teaching Richard. When it was 11:45 we all got a quick drink (pepsi, not beer) and they finished getting ready for the show.
The concert rocked because Green Day rocks the whole world. Then we all went back to the hotel and played video games for awhile until we fell asleep. Then my phone rings and we all woke up when it did. It was my dad. "Hey dad, what's up?" "Nothing. Just thought I would see what you were doing. Where are you at?" "In California with Green Day and two of my friends from school." "What the hell are you doing in California?!" I got the once in a life time chance to go on tour with them for the next two years. They played an awesome concert around noon today! Everybody in the crowd went nuts!" "Well ok, have fun." "Ok, tell Dana and Danny I said hey. Love ya." "Ok I will. Love ya too."
After I hung up Tre was like, "Who is Dana and Danny?" "There my older brothers. My two older sisters are Brandi and Shelly. So that make me the youngest." "You probably already know this but I'm the youngest of my mom's kids too" said Billie Joe. "Yea. I read about that"
So we all went to go get some soda in the vending machine down in the hotel lobby. Then Billie Joe went to go get popcorn because we were gonna watch Seed of Chuckie. Richard and I loved that movie. Me and him were obsessed with horror movies! So when the movie was over Richard, Maggie and I went back to our room and went to bed. Then I woke up screaming. Then Billie Joe and the others came in and asked me what was wrong. Then I told them that I had this night mare that Billie Joe was killed my Tre and Mike killed Tre and then himself and then that's when I woke up screaming. Then Tre came and hugged me and said it was all a bad dream. Then we all went back to bed.
