Angel Face, chapter 9

Billie Joe rumaged through the fridge for the jelly, not knowing Morgan was in the room.
Morgan walked past Billie Joe, and opened the pantry. Billie Joe gasped, and turned around.
"Jesus, you scared me. Why did you sneak up on me like that?" he asked, now laughing at himself.
"Sorry I scared you, and I didn't know I sneaked." Morgan said, smiling.
Billie Joe turned his attention back to his search for the jelly.
"Aha..found it." he said, holding the strawberry jelly in his left hand with a somewhat smug look on his face.
"Oh my hero." Morgan said sarcastically.
"Well if I'm your hero," Billie Joe began. "Then I think I deserve a reward."
"Hmm.." Morgan pondered, tapping her foot.
She looked into Billie Joe's green eyes, seeing a hint of mischief making her a bit suspicious.
She walked torwards him.
"Will this do?" she asked, as she grabbed him by the collar, and began kissing him.
Billie Joe's hands were wrapped around Morgan's waist, and Morgan's hands were running gently up and down Billie Joe's back.
"God, not in the kitchen." Mike said, iterrupting.
Billie Joe and Morgan broke apart instantly, both blushing.
"Billie Joe, you've got lipgloss on your face.." Mike said, trying not to laugh, but failed and burst into laughter.
Billie Joe hastily wiped his mouth, and ignored Mike as he laced both of his hands with Morgan's. She stood slightly on her tip toes, and pressed her forehead against his.
Mike rolled his eyes. "Honestly.." he muttered under his breath.
Mike left the kitchen with beer and cheese puffs, leaving Billie Joe and Morgan alone.
"Weren't you hungry?" Morgan asked.
"Yea, but food can wait." Billie Joe replied, smiling.

They began kissing again, only to be interrupted once more by Katie opening the door.
"Looks like you had a swell time without me Morgan." Katie said, smirking.
Morgan and Billie Joe didn't seem to hear, and continued kissing.
"Earth to Morgan and Billie Joe.." Katie said, walking beside them.
"HEY YOU TWO GET A ROOM!" she yelled, finally getting their attention.
Billie Joe and Morgan broke apart, and both looking embarassed, smiled.
"Hey Katie, how are your parents?" Morgan asked, still leaning on Billie Joe.
"They're great. I'm actually going back for another week or so, seems I had a niece I never knew about. Just came back here to get more clothes and check things."
"Things..." Morgan said in a questioning tone.
"Things as in what I just witnessed."
"Oh.." Morgan said blushing.
"Hey Katie!" Tre said, brightening up now that someone was here.
He gave her a huge hug.
"Wow Tre, didn't know you missed me that much." Katie laughed.
"Hey Katie, how are you?" Mike asked, giving her a less tighter version of Tre's hug.
"Great, but I have a question, what are the three of you doing here?"
"I'll explain later.." Morgan muttered.
Katie nodded at Morgan.
"Just hanging out." Tre and Mike answered.
Billie Joe stayed silent.
"Well, I'm gonna go pack somemore stuff, because I have to leave again in an hour..so I got about 30 minutes to pack, and 30 minutes to get to the airport."
"Alright, see you in a bit" Morgan said.
"Billie Joe," Tre began. "You've got some shiney stuff on your lips.."
Billie Joe wiped his mouth on his sleeve again. Morgan giggled and covered her mouth.

"Are you guys bored again?" Tre adked, sitting down in the chair closest to Mike.
"Yea, I am." Mike replied.
Billie Joe and Morgan looked at eachother, then to Tre and Mike.
"We're gonna go for a walk." Billie Joe said.
"Okay, fine, go have fun without us then.." Tre said, pouting.
"Now, now Tre, if you be good, I'll take you to the toy store." Mike said as if talking to a 7 year old, searching for a desprate attempt to get out of the house.
"Goodie!" Tre said, clapping his hands.
"Let's go.." Mike said, grabbing the car keys, and slightly rolling his eyes.
So, Mike and Tre went to the toy store.
Morgan and Billie Joe were walking down the street, arms around eachother.

"Okay, I got one." Billie Joe said. "Biggest fear."
"Hmm..I guess my biggest fear would be..losing you." Morgan said, slowing down slightly.
"Well then you won't ever have to face your biggest fear, because I'm not going anywhere." He said, kissing her forehead.
She smiled.
"Okay, my turn." Morgan said. "Most embarassing moment with Tre and Mike."
"Oh come on now, that's not fair." He said, protesting.
"Is too, I answered yours."
Billie Joe sighed. "Fine..well, this one time at a party, I got really really drunk, and I guess I mistook Tre for a girl, and I started hitting on him. Well I guess he was stoned or something, because he didn't realize it. Anyway, Mike said he found me and Tre on the porch.....making out."
Morgan had to bit her lip to keep from laughing.
"You okay?" Billie Joe asked, seeing Morgan's red face.
Morgan burst out laughing.

"Okay, that's enough with the questions.." Billie Joe said, as they came to a bench.
"Well then now what?" Morgan asked, sitting down on the bench beside Billie Joe.
Billie Joe shrugged his shoulders, and had that same mischievious look in his eye as he did in the kitchen.
He looked at her. She was wearing worn out jeans, with 2 layered tank tops, black and purple, her hair pulled back in a clip away from her face, beat up tenni shoes, and one of his old jackets. She was beautiful.
He leaned in to kiss her.

Morgan and Billie Joe walked home, hands laced. When they walked through the door, they were suprised to see a very disgruntled Mike.
"You forgot to get back in time to tell Katie goodbye, so she took it out on me." he said, glarring at Billie Joe and Morgan.
"Sorry.." Morgan said as she smiled weakly.
"Well, I guess I need to get home then, along with Tre," Mike said. "TRE WE'RE GOING HOME!"
"That sentence didn't include me, so I guess I have to stay here." Billie Joe said looking at Morgan.
"Fine with me." She said.
Tre walked in, fiddling with some sort of action figure he had bought at the store.
"Bye you guys.." Tre said, still concentrating on the action figure.
"Bye." Billie Joe and Morgan both said.
"So, am I going to have to sleep on the couch?" Billie asked, that look was in his eye again.
"No, you can stay in my bed, just as long as you promise--" Morgan said, but got cut short.
Billie Joe already knew what she was talking about.
"I swear." he said.
Morgan smiled, and went and sat on the couch. Billie Joe followed her.
Morgan flipped on the tube, and decided it wasn't worth watching, and poitioned herself so she was facing the other side of the room, and so her head was laying on Billie Joe's chest.
Billie Joe however, seemed interested in what was on the blurring screen.
Morgan listened to the mutters of the tv, and soon started to become bored with that. She grabbed Billie Joe's hand, and turned off the tv. She dragged Billie Joe off the couch.
"Hey! I was watching that!" He protested.
"Yea, well I'm tired so come on."
Billie Joe shuffled his feet to Morgan's room, and stripped down to his undershirt and boxers.
Morgan went into her closet to change into her pajama's, and came out wearing drawstring shorts, and a blue tank top similar to the one she had worn on the bench.
They both clambered into bed. Morgan set the alarm for 10 AM, and shut off the lights.
Billie Joe put his arm around her, and she snuggled close to him.
"Good night.." he whispered.
"Good night." she said back.
Billie Joe said something else.
"I love you."
Morgan stayed silent for a second.
"I love you too." she said. And they both drifted off to sleep.
