Blonde Jokes, chapter 1
*****most of the names in here are real names and real people...except for the famous people...I fixed thier ages for the story's sake****
"So, when are you coming out again?" 24-year-old Cameron Danson asked his friend Evie of 16 years. She laughed into the phone and sighed.
"I'm surprised Sami hasn't told you yet," she laughed packing one last box.
"Told me what?" he asked turning around to face his other friend, Sami. She smiled and he got that feeling again. He turned around again to talk to Evie. She started laughing down the line again.
"That I'm moving in with you guys!" she screamed. Cameron pulled his cell away from his ear and stood there wide-eyed at Sami. She smiled guiltily and picked up a magazine, that happened to be the latest edition of Like Hi, the #1 magazine created by Evie's friend, Cassie Fincher. Just as he would of suspected, Evie along with her two band-mates were on the front.
"Really?" he stuttered, looking into Sami's eyes.
"Yes! And I'm bringing Cassie, and my two band-mates!" she screamed again. He escaped from his day dreaming to realize that he was going to have four new roommates. "Don't worry though, Stan and Jimmy are living in another apartment, so it will be just you and three hot single 23 year olds!" she laughed and he snickered a little.
"Really now," he sighed scratching his forehead. She nodded even though he couldn't see.
"I'll be there by Saturday evening. Sami is picking me up, so you should tag along with her. I just have some stuff to settle with here in Arizona before I cross the border," she sighed and tisked. "Life can be a bitch sometimes," Cameron laughed slightly making Sami look up from the magazine she was reading. He stopped and nodded to what she had said.
"Alrighty then, we'll get everything ready and we'll see you this Saturday!" he yelled into the phone.
"Ok Cameron, say hi to Sami for me. Bye." Evie said into the phone.
"Bye Evie," he said back before pressing end on his phone and throwing it on the couch across from Sami. She smiled at the magazine and motioned for Cameron to join her.
"Look at this!" she shoved the magazine in his face and he smiled at the dedication page, that was dedicated to "her best friends in the world" as the bold said. Like Hi had an article this month on Evie's band, Blonde Jokes, supposedly named after Cassie. On the part of Evie's interview, she had a little article on us. It was a picture of all of us as kids. "... We were always there for each other, and I can't believe it's been nearly 16 years since I first met Sami and Cameron." He smiled and put a free arm around Sami. She rested her head on his shoulder and smiled as well.
"I'm glad we are all still friends," she sighed. Cameron nodded in agreement. He was glad as well. He wouldn't know what he would do without Sami in his life. Oh, and Evie, Cassie, Stan and Jackie. Let's not forget about them now.

-In Arizona-
"Mom! I'm leaving!" 23-year-old Evie Garland shouted from her stance in the doorway of her house. Recently, she felt as though she felt lonely without her closest of friends by her side. One state over was way to far.
"All right lipshun, have a nice flight," her mom, now 42, replied hugging her now famous daughter tightly.
"Don't worry mom, I'll visit when I can," she said patting her mom on the shoulder.
"Bye-bye my rock star of a daughter," she sighed as her departing daughter Evie drove off to a whole new place.

"Where are you?" Cameron whined down the phone line. All he got was a sigh and a laugh from Sami.
"If you weren't so stupid, you'd realize that we're right in front of you," Evie smirked back, but now off the phone. Cameron shut his phone and slid it back in his pocket.
"Well, either way, I wouldn't have been able to recognize you. I mean your covering your hair with that hat, and your wearing sunglasses," he said sarcastically pointing to each object in the process.
"Cameron, stop being so stupid, I mean get with the picture. The Evie Garland can't be seen walking around in an airport! Paparazzi'll trample her!" Sami cut in. Cameron shut up and smiled sheepishly.
"He'll only listen to you, you know," Evie laughed facing Sami and lowering her sunglasses slightly.
"Tre' Shmexy!" Evie turned around to be faced by her friend Cassie, whom she had lost from getting off the plane.
"Shhh! Don't say that. They'll know it's me!" Evie whispered. A few people around us looked up and a teenager with her boyfriend dropped her passport that she was holding.
"Uh oh," Evie whispered.
"Run!" Cameron yelled. About 40 people started to run after them as they made a mad dash to the entrance.
"Come on, get in!" Sami shouted over the wild fans. She opened the back seat doors and gestured for Evie and Cassie to get in the backseat. Cameron literally did a cheesy action film jump-over-the-hood routine and jumped into the drivers seat as Sami did the same in the passenger.
"Cassie, you idiot," Evie sighed elbowing her friend. She smiled sheepishly and Sami rolled her eyes.
"At least we know you're still having blonde moments," Sami joked turning around in her seat.
"Let us not forget 4:010," Cassie sighed looking at her watch. "HEY! It is 4:010!" she laughed and was soon joined in by the rest of the gang.
"So, when's the rest of the bandwagon getting here?" Cameron asked as the laughter died down.
"Yeah, It's been a long time since I've seen Stan and Jackie!" Cassie agreed.
"You just want to see Stan again, don't you," Evie joked winking at her now red friend. Sami sighed and laughed.
"Don't worry Cassie, it's about time that you found somebody," Cameron joked. Evie smirked and hit him on the top of the head.
"You are too harsh Mr. Danson," she laughed. "For you're information, Stan can't keep his mouth shut about you," Evie winked at Cassie and she smiled a little.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Where are we meeting you?" Evie asked on her phone as Cameron drove down a street.
"At the Starbucks that is towards the end of the center," Her band mate Stan told her.
"Right, Starbucks it is," she smiled back.
"Oh, I haven't been to Starbucks in a long time!" Sami said excited as she could be.
"Oi! Hold your horses! We won't be leaving for another hour, I still need to unpack!" Evie shouted as Cameron made a quick turn into their street.
"I never realized how nice your house was Cameron," Cassie said in amazement as they got out of the car. Sami sighed and elbowed Cameron.
"That's what they all say," she whispered. Cameron smiled to himself and fumbled with his keys until the house key was found.
"Oh! I miss this thing!" Evie shouted as she jumped onto the giant trampoline that was set up in the backyard. She pulled Cassie up and they started jumping like crazy. Cameron laughed as Sami was dragged up as well.
"I thinks I smell a dance number," Evie smirked. Cassie smiled and Sami rolled her eyes. They all huddled as Cameron leaned to one side growing impatient.
"So, what song?" Sami asked in the little huddle.
"You guys will know when I start," Evie laughed. They broke up and stood in different places on the tramp.
"Say... HEY!!!" Evie shouted and Sami and Cassie's faces lit up.
"Hear the sound of the pouring rain, coming down like an Armageddon flame," Evie started.
"HEY!!!" Cassie and Sami shouted back.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Oh boy, we haven't done that in a long time!" Cassie laughed as she fell back on the couch. Sami giggled and Evie nodded.
"Can I get another amen?" she sang in near laughs.
"AMEN!" the rest of the gang replied.
"So, when are we gonna get going?" Cameron asked looking at his watch. Evie shrugged.
"I don't know. Why?" she asked picking up a chocolate from the plate on the coffee table.
"Well, it's like 5:00." He replied nonchalantly. Evie nearly spit her candy out from shock.
"Let's go now! They said at 5:30!" she jumped up and grabbed her sunglasses from the table and put them on in a cheesy way. "Let's go!" she yelled leaping over the couch and making a quick jump for the door.
"Some days I wonder if she'll ever calm down," Sami sighed.
"Your wasting valuable wondering time then," Cameron joked.
"I heard that!" Evie shouted from the doorway. They laughed and made their way to the last standing Starbucks in San Francisco.
"How ironic, it seems as it was only yesterday when there were Starbucks everywhere," Cassie sighed and wiped a pretend tear away. "Oh, the good ol' days," she then pretended to cry in her hands.
"Don't worry, at least your still blonde," Evie patted her friend on the back and she looked up and rolled her eyes.
"Don't go there, old lady!" she mocked fought back. Sami laughed from the back seat.
"Oh come on, by like one week," she smirked and rolled her eyes. Cassie stuck out her tongue and turned the other way with her arm crossed over her chest.
"Fine." She stuck her chin in the air and opened one eye to see Sami and Evie in hysterics.
"Shit-heads," she mumbled.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"STAN! JIMMY! I HAVENT SEEN YOU SINCE THE TOUR ENDED!!!" Evie screamed as she ran over to her band mates. Stan engulfed her into a giant hug and Jackie laughed at the look on Evie's face.
"You're crushing me," she let out gasping for air.
"Oh, sorry!" he smiled and put Evie down. Cassie and Sami came threw the door to the living room and Stan's face lit up.
"I'll leave you two alone," Sami stepped off to the side and Stan literally leapt forward and plucked Cassie off the ground into a more giant hug than Evie's.
"I can't feel my arms," she whined. Stan put her down and sheepishly smiled.
"Uh... it's... uh nice to... uh see you again," he said scratching the back of his head. Sami and Evie silently laughed from the stairs.
The next day- 5:00
"You are an idiot," Cameron joked aiming his shot up on the pool table.
"Why would you say that?" Stan asked taking another sip of his beer.
"Well, for one thing, you make it so fricking obvious that you have the hotts for Cassie," he started. Stan nearly spat out his beer.
"Is it really that obvious?" he asked wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. Cameron nodded and let Stan take his shot.
"Secondly, you don't know how to make a move," Cameron laughed as Stan's shot badly missed. "Thirdly, you do not know how to play pool," Stan gave him evils and put down his pool stick.
"I forfeit," he sighed.
"Fine," Cameron smirked. Stan walked of and Sami entered the room.
"Another lecture?" she asked getting a beer from the mini fridge in the room.
"Yep," Cameron sighed.
"He needs it. You know, they should have a book for guys called; The Dumb Guys Guide To Girls." She smiled and laughed at the blank expression on Cameron's face.
"You know not all guys are stupid when it comes to girls," he said while putting away the pool sticks and turning off the light above it.
"That's what they all say," Sami joked and walked out of the room, shortly followed by Cameron.
