Paper Lanterns, chapter 1
I was walking down the road. I had to get out of the house. Especially after what my dad had done to me.
I have my hoodie on and my hood up so hopefully nobody can see me, or what I look like.
I see someone walk by me. He smiles at me, and I smile back. Not really wanting to be rude. He doesn't any older than 16, like me.
That boy... He had Piercing Green eyes. You know. The ones you could melt in. He also had jet black short hair that went all over the place.
He wasn't actually that bad looking. I actually kind of want to see him again.
I keep walking. Still not really sure where the fuck I'm going.
(The boys point of view)
Wow. That girl was so hot. She even looked at me. She had gorgeous Blue eyes, and black hair with Bright Pink bangs.
Something inside makes me want to see her again.
I look behind me to keep looking at her. I guess she had the same idea because she's looking at me.
Oh shit. She's looking at me!I quickly take my eyes off of her and look ahead of me.
I walk into the local Guitar shop. I start looking around, and there's some really cool guitars here.
A few minutes pass and I hear the bell on the door ring open. I look over to see who it is. funny enough, it's her! I wonder if she liked Guitars...
Stupid me. Of course she likes Guitars... That's why she's in here you retard. Uh... Talking to myself isn't helping any more. I'll shut up.
Oh fuck. She's coming right towards me, Should I make a conversation?
She comes and looks at the Guitars that are on the shelf in front of us both.
"Cool Guitars. eh" I say trying to make a conversation.
"Oh, yeah" She reply's. "Someone the Guitars have really cool designs on them." She says as she points to a Guitar with Flames on it.
"Yeah. Sorry, but I really have to go. I'll... uh... see you 'round sometime then?" I ask
"Yeah, probably" She replies as I turn to walk away.
"Bye" I say right before stepping outside into the early November breeze.
(Girls point of view)
I walk out of the Guitar shop, I don't know where the hell I am. I just moved here from Canada. So, I am kinda use to the cold weather ... even though its barely cold. This is probably as cold as it'll get.
I look ahead of me, and spot that guy. So, I walk a little faster to catch up with him.
"Uh, hey. I'm sorry to bug you. But I'm kinda new here. And I don't know my way back. Do you think you could help me?" I ask kind of nervously.
"Sure. Where do you live?" He replies. Well.. at least he sounds nice, and he's helping me. I guess its a good thing.
