Paper Lanterns, chapter 4
I woke up the next morning. Still in Billie Joe arms like the night before. I looked over at the clock. It said 8:30Am on it. Fuck! I had to be at school by 9:00Am
"Billie." I started. " You have to wake up.. Its 8:30. I don't even know where the damn school is."
"Hmm?"
"Get up!" I said slapping his ass.
"Fine.. Fine.. I'll get up. You can get dressed, and go downstairs. There should be some food in one of the Cabinets." He said getting up.
I picked up some clothes from one of the bags that I brought and I headed to the bathroom to change.
Once I had finished in the bathroom. I went downstairs to find Billie Joe getting our cereal for the both of us.
" I hope you like Cap'n Crunch" He says
"Oh, of course. Cap'n Crunch is the best cereal ever!" I exclaim
We basically just eat in silence.
"Oh shit! We have to go. Grab your bag." Billie Joe says
Once I grabbed my bag. We headed out the door and too school. By the corner of the street. There were 2 people.
"Hey Tre, hey Mike" Said Billie Joe
I looked at Billie Joe with a confused look on my face, but soon realized that they must be his friends.
"Uh. Billie, " Mike said.." Who's that girl that's beside you?" He asked puzzled.
"Oh, guys, this is Sadie. She's my new friend." I say looking
We start walking to school. Billie and Mike are talking, me and Tre are ahead of them. From what it looks like, Tre is a clown.. Or that's how he acts anyway.
"She's staying with me. Her dad, I think he like abuses her. But I have to admit.. She is so hot. I think I like her." I heard Billie say.
"Well, then ask her out dumbass." I think that was Mike
"I will.. I will.. Its just a little soon... I may we might be sleeping in the same bed.. But only because she doesn't want me to sleep on the couch"
"Your sleeping with her!?!" Mike said.. I think he said that a little too loud. I could hear it perfectly fine.
"Shh" Billie said keeping his voice down.
It was silent the rest of the way to school. Nobody talked. I have to admit. I m kind of scared about going to School... I don't know anybody except Billie, Mike and Tre.. But I guess it will be cool.
