Paper Lanterns, chapter 5
We arrive at the school gates. Everyone is staring at me, Billie Joe, Mike and Tre. Soon enough people come up to us and start picking on Billie Joe.
"Your such a retard. Go get a life"
On kid says to us. Next Thing I know. I punched him. He's lying on the ground, and people gathere round us. I get on the ground and start punching him again.
"Thats for making fun of my boyfriend"
We were walking through the halls. I didnt know where to go and what to do. I think I needed a Times Table or something. No clue.
"Uh. Guys. Will you go to class and tell the teacher that I'm taking Sadie to go get her Times Table. And I'm gonna show her round school So she doesnt get lost" Billie said, laughing at the imagination of me getting lost in this school.
"Kay." Mike and Tre said in unison
They walk off in a different direction as us. We finally come to a door that says " Office". We go inside and Billie goes up to the Secretary.
"Um. Sadie Davis is new. And she needs her Times Table." Billie says as the Secretary starts going through some files. Finally she pulls out a paper and hands it to Billie Joe.
Billie Mumbles something to her that I didnt quite understand.
He hands me my Times Table
" So. You ready for that Tour of the school yet?"
"Yeah! But. What classes do you have. Do we have the same?" I ask. I wanted to be in the same classes as Billie Joe so then I could kind of Follow him from class to class. Since after this tour, I still won't know where I'm going.
"Um.. We have. Science first period together, And Math, second period together, You have P. E And I have Guys P. E third period and forth period is.. English. Together." He says looking at both of out Times Tables.
"Well. Thats a load off my mind. Now.. How 'bout that tour eh." I ask.
Billie Joe and I walk through the school school. Its friggen massive! The tour took almost all day. School gets out at 3:10. And its 2:30Pm.. Wow.
"Hey. Do you want to skip the last class, and maybe.. Go to the Library and hang out by our selves or something?" Billie Joe askes nervously.
"Um. Sure" I say with a puzzled look on my face.
We get to the library and its deserted. Nobody is there.
All of a sudden Billie trips over a book and lands on me. His face is inches away from mine. All of a sudden he's leaning in.
Our lips touch for the first time. I return the favor and kiss him back. He slowly puts his tongue in my mouth, Massaging it with mine. This went on for a long time it seemed. And it must have been because we broke apart because the bell rang.
Me and Billie Start walking home. Of course he leads the way because I still don't know my way around this place. I slowly put my hand in his. I look over at him and smile. He smiles back at me. Damn he has such a gorgeous smile.
The next thing I know we end up at a park. He takes me over to the swings and he sits on one. So I sit on the one next to him.
"Uh.. Thanks for sticking up for me today. You didnt need to. But it was nice of you" Billie says a bit embarassed. I could tell because he was going a little red in the cheeks.
" It was no problem. I liked it. It was actually fun" I reply. Smiling
"And uh.. Did you mean it when you said that I was your boyfriend?" He asks looking away.
