I'm So Embarassed Billie Joe!, chapter 11
"Weerre getti'n married!" Billie sang in Mel's ear as they walked to the car hand in hand. She couldn't stop grinning. Mel was the happiest girl in the world right then and there. She was going to be a step mother to the cutest kids in the world, Joey and Jakob, and she was marrying the world's hottest rockstar ever, and she truly loved him...even more than herself. That was what she truly felt love was.
The next couple of weeks, Billie Joe and Mel were flying down to Washington to meet the parents. They loved him, and were so happy They were getting married!
Billie's tour manager gave Mel permission to come on tour with them for a couple months, because they needed to announce thier engagement to the country.
Tre' confronted Mel once, telling her that Billie Joe must really really, truly love her, because this was definitely the longest he had ever gone without sex, and Mike nodded in agreement. This made Mel feel special, because she was waiting until the wedding night, to make it EXTRA special for both of them. She knew it was a little old fashioned, but she wanted to make that night a night to remember always.
"Are you out of the shower yet sweetie?" Billie called
Mel stepped out of the bathroom, her hair dyed a fresh black, and her eyes lined with black eyeliner. She was wearing a matching outfit to Billie Joe. This was the first concert they would announce thier engagement.
"God Mel! I love your hair!" he said as he reached out and played with her black hair, and then pulling her in for a kiss.
"Thanks! I knew you'd like it!" she said twisting her long hair into a sloppy bun on the back of her head.
"How do I look?" she asked
"Like me except sexier!" he said making her giggle
The plan was that she would come out with Billie Joe after the first song, and then there would be the announcement. She was so nervous!
About ten minutes later they packed up ready to leave. They hoped in the bus and sped off to the Large arena in Berkley, the start of the tour.
Mel waited back stage, fidgeting with her red tie. She was so nervous! And she'd have to stay up there and have She's a rebel dedicated to her. It was sweet. She was Billie Joe's little rebel.
"Your up in 5 min Miss Summers." Said one of the managers.
