I'm So Embarassed Billie Joe!, chapter 4
**+still mel's pov+**
I saw him look down at his hands a little.
"Billie? What's wrong?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder.
"Huh? What? Oh nothing... Nothing. Uhm.. SO Mel.. What do you like to do?" he asked.
"Oh, hehe well where should I start? First of all, I love to sing, and play the guitar. I have a green Fender, that I bring with me on all my trips, except this one ya know." I laughed a little
"Yeah obviously" he chuckled
"Well," I continued, "I really like music. My two favorite bands are Relient K, and you guys.. Duh."
"Wow! Hey I got to meet Relient K, they're really neat guys. Matt's pretty cool."
"And hot too!" I added, then realized what I had just said and began to blush.
"Hey! What am I chopped liver! I can be hot! I can also be cute," he said pouting and giving me the puppy-dog eyes. I giggled.
"Yeah Billie Joe your hot too!" I said and blushed again
**+Billie's pov+**
'Wow she's blushing a lot,' I thought to myself. We sat there and talked a lot about anything that came to mind. Pretty much random stuff, and I soon found out that Mel and I had a lot in common! I thought that was pretty awesome.
"Ya know..." she said "I'm only like this for about a day... Then my cramps go away and I'm just, well... Ya know... Normal?" She said as her pale face flushed again. 'She's so cute when she blushes! ' I chuckled and said
"Yes, Mel I know what you mean. Uhm hey, do you want to hang out tomorrow? And the next day... And forever? Haha I'm just kidding!" I said as her eyes got really wide. "But can we hang out tomorrow... When your feeling better?"
She looked like a beautiful tomato. Her face turned BRIGHT red and her blue eyes sparkled as she looked at me. "Sure!" she said
"OK, then it's a date!" I shot her a devilish smirk
"Wow... A date with Billie Joe! This'll be interesting!" she said
Then we started talking about completely random things. I cant tell begin to tell you how much she made me laugh! Mel is SUCH a random person!
After about an hour of talking, I was getting rather impatient for my food. I was hungry, and I was pretty sure Mel was too. Finally the guys burst in the door, holding our salads. "FINALLY! GOD! You made us wait for like two fucking hours!"
Tre' and Mike looked at each other and started laughing.
"Billie! It's 3 AM! We had to drive clear down to Yakima from here to find a Safeway that was open to get your GOD DAMN SALADS!" Mike snapped. Mel explained to me that Yakima was about an hour away from where we were.
"Oh, sorry Mike..." I said and we both burst out laughing.
"Hey Melvin! Guess what I got you?" Tre' said laughing a little
"Oh God Tre'! What did you get me?" Mel moaned
"This!" he yelled and started laughing at her as a chocolate bar the size of Texas came hurtling out of his hand, and landed in Mel's lap.
"OH MY GOD!" she screamed and started laughing
"I'm tired, I think we should all hit the sack. I'm gonna stay out here with Mel, I'll sleep on this other sofa, ya know, just to make sure she's all right." I said
"Right.. OK." Said Tre' flashing me this "yeah right" kind of look. I just kind of wanted to fall asleep looking at her angelic face. She popped a couple pills, went to the bathroom and then came back, plopping herself on the couch, and then she was out cold.
