To The End, chapter 2

I shouldn't have to tell you that it wasn't long after that Danyelle and Gerard fell in love. Deeply, madly, truly in love. Gerard found himself waking every morning from a wonderful dream about her, and the rest of the day he spent in a constant trance, counting down the seconds until he would see her again. Danyelle herself was the same way. She even took a break from ballet, her one true passion (before Gerard), to come see him out on the road.
Three months after their initial meeting, invitations for the Way-Danyelle wedding were sent out.
Then the month after that, Danyelle walked down the aisle in a flowing red and black dress, holding corresponding roses.
"By the power infested in me, you may kiss the bride." As Gerard leaned into kiss Danyelle, they gave their bodies, hearts, minds, and souls to one another. But they didn't know that when the justice of the peace asked for objections, one man held his tongue... and he had to hold it fiercely.

Frank Iero stood behind Gerard as his best man, twisting the thick black fabric of his tuxedo. He knew that both Gerard and Danyelle hadn't had sexual intercourse with each other yet... and the more he thought about it, the more naseous he became. He was completely in love, and the thought of the two in bed with one another was sickening to him... if only he'd been bold enough to his love the truth when the opportunity had presented itself. And now he was standing before his love, in front of an entire congregation of his love's and his love's lover's friends and family, smiling like he was actually happy about something, or anything for that matter. He could invision his hand sliding up his love's thigh, on that one drunken night two months ago. He remembered leaning in to kiss his love... the warmth of his love's breath upon his, then the feeling of the rush of air as his love inhaled sharply. Then the kiss... oh the magical kiss. The feeling, the hope that it would never end, and the sudden, stinging disappointment as his love pulled away, looking away with tears in their beautiful eyes, saying how they had betrayed their love... and that was the night the heartbreak had started...

"Can we have the rings?" the justice of the peace asked. Frank snapped back from his daydream as he presented the ring to Gerard. Mindy did the same for Danyelle, and they exchanged rings. As the justice asked for objections, Frank bit his tongue. Hard. He felt the warm, salty taste of blood trickle in his mouth as the stinging of the bite awakened his nerves. Then those words he dreaded hearing filled his head.
"You may kiss the bride." Frank looked down as his love embarked in a passionate kiss.
Oh how he longed for Gerard.
