Wake Me Up When September Ends...., chapter 3
Billie Joe stumbled a bit as he carried Lena home through the empty streets that night. She was a small girl so he could manage.
He rested his chin on her head and kept on walking while thinking of the past few hours.
Lena had told Billie Joe why her father's murderer would be after her and then they went out for a few drinks.
He really liked Lena and he hoped she felt the same way.
He reached his hotel and a man opened the door for him since Billie Joe couldn't manage. He got a few weird looks as he crossed the hotel lobby but he ignored all the people. They could of been staring for the fact that he was Billie Joe Armstrong from the famous band Green Day or the fact that he had a sleeping girl in his arms.
Getting up the stairs to the third floor was quite a task for him. God Damn the elevators for being out of order.
He gently put Lena down on his bed and shook his arms a bit to get the feeling back. He sat beside Lena for a minute while looking at her features.
Billie Joe had realised that she was beautiful before but even more so now while she was sleeping. She looked angelic like she didnt have a care in the world.
He noticed that she had her lip and her ears pierced and she had a tattoo of a little heart on her wrist with the words 'Rage and Love' under it.
Lena mumbled something in her sleep which made Billie Joe jump up from beside her.
"Jesus" He smirked and walked over to the mini bar. He took out a bottle of Bulmers and took a drink before deciding to listen to some music, But not too loud because he didnt want to wake Lena.
He took out his iPod and plugged it into his laptop and as soon as he did You Can't Touch This by Mc Hammer came on.
Billie Joe chuckled and did a little dance before changing the song.
He cant let Lena know about his little obsession with the Mc Hammer song which was all thanks to Tre.
Rock The Casbah By The Clash came on and Billie Joe decided to leave it on.
He opened his tie and let it hang around his neck. Taking another drink of his Bulmers Billie Joe looked over at Lena again. She had turned over on her side and she was sound asleep.
Billie Joe walked into the bathroom but continued singing along to The Clash.
He remover his eyeliner and then took off his half on half off tie and his tight shirt. He studied his tattoos for a minute before switching off the lights and going back into the main room. He walked over to his suitcase and pulled out an old band T-shirt that he had.
He couldn't leave Lena in her clothes, He would have to change her.
Turning Lena over he carefully removed her converse and opened the buckle on her belt. He took off her pants but he left her underwear on.
He was kind of nervous doing this for some strange reason. She was asleep!
He then took off her top and put his old T-shirt on her.
When he had finished he put her under the covers and hopped in beside her.
He then fell asleep to the sound of The Ramones...
During the night Billie was awoken too the sound of someone crying.
He looked over and noticed Lena was sitting up with her head on her knees and she was crying.
"Whats wrong?" Billie Joe asked sitting up and blanket fell down and revealed his bare chest.
"Its nothing.. Sorry that I woke you up.." She said and looked at Billie Joe with a faint smile on her face.
"What are you smiling at?" He smirked.
"Your hair!" She laughed and Billie Joe pretended to look hurt.
God she has a cute laugh.. Billie Joe thought.
"Sorry for waking you its just... I feel like I don't deserve you being this nice to me.." She replied and Billie Joe stopped smiling.
"Of course you deserve this... Your apartment just got ruined! I want to do this..." Billie Joe said and Lena looked over at him.
"Why?"
Billie Joe sighed and patted the space beside him. Lena got the hint and mover closer to him. He wrapped his arm around her and put his head down on the pillow.
"Because I like you... Your a great person and you don't deserve this... I'm helping you out because thats what friends are for right?" He said and Lena wiped a tear from her cheek.
"Thank You Billie... So so much" She replied and kissed him on the cheek before lying down beside him again.
"Oh and I see you like Mc Hammer..." She smiled before falling asleep.
