Wake Me Up When September Ends...., chapter 4
"Hmm... How about this one?" Billie Joe said while pointing to a black leather two seater sofa.
It had been three days since Lena's apartment had been thrashed and her and Billie Joe were out shopping for new things for her new apartment.
He sister had sent her money as well as some of her aunts and cousins from Cuba.
"That's kind of cool isn't it" She replied coming over and standing next to Billie.
"Good choice Mr. Armstrong" She teased.
Billie Joe and Lena had become really close over the past few days but neither of them would admit their true feelings.
"Well I'm just good altogether!" Billie Joe said and Lena laughed at him. "Yeah.."
"Oh my god Lena?!" A voice said from behind them and Lena and Billie Joe spun around.
Lena's eyes widened and she grabbed the other girl into a hug. "Jo!" She squealed and Billie Joe laughed at them. He then looked up at the guy who was standing next to Jo. He was quite tall, Well compared to Billie. He had long-ish brown hair and he was wearing sunglasses. He was pretty cute in Billie Joe's opinion.
When Lena pulled away from Jo she was still smiling.
"Oh I'm sorry..." Lena said turning around to Billie Joe. "Jo this is Billie..."
Jo smiled and shook Billie Joe's hand. "He's a friend of mine" Lena added when she saw the smirk on Jo's face.
"Billie this is Jo... I haven't seen her in ages..." Lena smiled and Billie couldn't help but stare at her. She was so excited which made her even more cute.
"Lena, Billie this is my Fiancé Danny" Jo said and Lena gasped again. "Your getting married?!" She squealed again and hugged Jo again and then she hugged
Danny. "Nice too meet you..." Lena said to him and he smiled.
"Yeah you too... Uh your Billie Joe Armstrong right?" Danny said and this brought Billie Joe out of his thoughts. He noticed that Danny spoke with an English accent.
"Yep that would be me.." Billie smiled and Danny nodded.
"I'm a big fan. Me and my friends have a band and well Green Day are our influence..." Danny said and blushed when Billie Joe hugged him.
"That's cool...".
They stood talking for a while before Jo and Danny had to go. "Lets go out for dinner tomorrow... That suit you two?" Jo asked and Lena looked at Billie.
He nodded and then smiled. "That would be great..."
Billie and Lena walked side by side down the street. It was a nice evening and it was a pretty busy evening.
They turned the corner and Billie noticed that it got busier as they walked.
Lena noticed a paint shop and they headed over to it.
As Billie Joe was walking in the door he noticed that there was a music shop across the street.
"I'm going to go look in a store across the road... I'll catch up with you in a little bit" And Lena watched him run across the street.
She walked into the paint shop and started to look around. She was so glad that she bumped into Jo. Her and Jo had been best friends when they were kids.
She found a deep red for the kitchen and a deep purple for the living room.
She picked a nice green for her bedroom and dark colour for the bathroom.
Lena was so excited about moving into the new flat. It was in a safer place than her last one. Her family and Billie Joe had been so kind in giving her money.
Billie Joe appeared a little while later with a big smile on his face.
"What's up?" Lena asked and he shook his head while looking at some of the paints.
"Nothing" He said but he still had the evil smile on his face...
