Tre and Mattie, chapter 1
Mattie's P. O. V.
I walked through sheets of rain. I was drenched in water tears and pain. I kept walking though. I didnt know where. I didnt care either. I walked on anyways.
(THREE YEARS AGO)
I went to her friend Krista's house. I was going over to party with her they were going to go to the Dizzy Rooster (it was a club in L. A. Where she lived). It was Kristas 22th birthday so she said might as well celebrate. After I got to her house, we had to wait for a few more poeple. I always showed up first(for almost anything). Everyone knew that. Soon enough every one got here. So we left.
A few hours later we were all still out. I was as drunk as hell though and every one elce was just drunk. I walked over to get some more shots. But I stupidly Stumbled and fell into someguy with light brown hair. As I fell to the ground all I could really see before that was an awesome pair of black and red converse low tops. Then I blacked out.
When I woke up I was at Krista's house. I knew that I had a hangover. I had a headache it hurt really bad. I got up to go get some asprin from her bathroom. When I got back I relized that there were three sleeping guys on her couch in her livivng room. I walked over to them. (Krista had one couch that was really long the three guys fit easily. ) I studied them all. The tallest one had short spikie blond hair. I could tell he dyed it blonde because I could see brown under neath the blonde. The shorter one (wasnt really a hole lot shorter) had tallish pointy hair that was light brown. He also had the red and black low tops. A wave of enbarresment swept through me I rememberd falling into him. Then there was the middle one. He had messed up dark hair. He was wearing plain black low tops with black laces.
I simply just stood there thinking. Then it came to me! I had a fucking bad headache! I sat down on the other sid of the couch. I curled up and fell back asleep.
This time a loud scream flew across the room and I tried to sit up but I failed and fell off of the chair and hit my head. " GOD DAMN IT!" I screamed in pain. Suddlenly the light haired man was over asking me if I was okay. " I'm..." I trailed off to find that the guy with the light brown hair was Tre Cool. I looked up at him he smiled at me. I suddenly relized that I was flat on my back. "Oh... Sorry I'm fine" I gave a nevous laugh as he stood up and then took my hand and helped me up. "Thanks" I said. "Yeah sure" he said looking at me.
Tre's P. O. V.
I am so stupid here I am standing in front of a really pretty girl and all I can say is yeah sure? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME? "Hi I'm... Uhh" I said. "Tre Cool" she said to me. "Yeah hi" she said. I knew my face was getting red. "My name is Mattie" She said. "OH HI" I said getting excited. Mattie looked at me as if I were stupid. I yried to stop but I guess that made me look even more dumb because she started laughing at me. I turned around and walked out of the house. I felt like a nimrod. I got in my car and put on the CD player and listened to nimrod. I felt it. I rested my head on the stearing wheel.
The CD was playing full blast in my car so I couldn't hear anything. Suddenly I felt the car door close on the other side of the car. I didn't look at who entered my car I just listened to the music. I closed my eyes. I was not myself today. I knew that. Then the person put their arm around me. I sat up. Their was mattie smiling at me. "Hi Tre" she said and befor I knew it she was hugging me. I smiled and hugged back.
