You erased yourself, so shut up!, chapter 6
The next morning, Tre, complete with newly-dyed green hair, got up early, dressed, and was sitting at the kitchen table munching on toast when his dad walked in. Frank snr. Did a double take, and looked at his watch, smiling at Tre.
"Well, someone's excited then."
"Morning dad, how are you?"
"Don't try change the subject you."
Tre grinned. Frank pured himself a cup of tea, and sat down opposite Tre.
"So, what are your plans for today?"
"Um, well, I need to go round Larry's and picked up the rest of my drumkit; I'm going to take the quad if that's ok? Then, later, I'm going for a cycle, and help the Andersons when they get here."
"Sounds like a good plan, just be careful with the quad; one of the brakes is a bit dodgy, I need to see to it. The Andersons won't get here 'til about three mind, so you can come back and have some lunch first."
"Cool, right, well, I'm off for a spin before I head for my drums. See you later."
"Later son."
It was half two when Tre got up from lunch, and headed out teh door. He pulled his bike out of the shed and pedalled off, bubbling with excitement at the imminent arrival of his friend. He arrived at the same time as they did.
"Oh my god, Tre!"
Faith threw herself from teh car, and raced towards her friend. He beamed, adn threw down his bike. She was about to throw her arms around him, when she noticed his hair, and stopped dead.
"Tre, what the hell?"
"D'you like it?"
"You got any dye left?"
He laughed, and she jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs round his waist, and they just stood there hugging for about five minutes.
Eventually he put her down, and they headed over to her parents.
"Tre, hi, how are you?" Her mother asked. Without waiting for a reply, she carried on. "Right Faith, you know where your boxes are, Tre can help you. Your room's second one on the left at top of the stairs. Off you go!"

Three hours later, they were sitting on Faith's bed, sipping cola and just catching up on everything that had happened. The Andersons were going over to Tre's for dinner, and Tre had promised to dye Faith's hair with the remainder of his green dye.
"We'd better go you know, my dad will be wondering where we are."
"Yeah, come on, we'll go get mum and dad."
It was eleven pm, and the Andersons were still at the Wright's house. Tre had just finished dying Faith's hair, after reassuring her parents that it would wash out eventually. They were sitting on Tre's bed. Having discussed plans for the next day, they were now talking about school.
"Oh my god, this si so cool; there's a chance you're in all my classes!"
"I know, what are the chances eh? I picked exactly the same subjects as you! Maybe it's like our dads said, we're too alike not to be alike."
"Ha, yeah. This is gonna be so cool, finally, a friend to ahng about with."
"What about Jessie?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot about him; well, you'll get to meet him, see what you think of him, maybe. If he doesn't get anymore 'detention' that is."
Faith giggled, just as her dad stuck his head round the door.
"Faith, sweetie, time to go home. Night Tre."
"Night Jeff, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yup, twelve o'clock remember, and wear old clothes; you don't want to get paint everywhere!"
"Will do, night."
He grabbed Faith as she got up, adn gave her a huge kiss on the lips.
"Night sweetheart, love you."
"Love you too Tre."

"So everything was alright when Faith arrived then?"
"Yup. Next day I went to her house to help her paint her room; that was a laugh, I've never seen anyone as covered in paint as I was. Anyway, the trouble didn't start 'til we got to school on Monday morning..."
