Heck Yes!, chapter 8
Annabelle woke up to find Tre sitting cross-legged on the bed, watching her, a sad look on his face.
"What are you doing?" Annabelle groaned, burying her face in the pillows.
"The snow cleared up. We can go home now." He whispered.
Annabelle turned over to she faced him, pulling herself into a sitting position, trying to keep her tears under control.
"Well... Hmm... That's, good I guess... The snow... " She stood up, rummaging through the contents of her floor to find clean clothes. She pulled a shirt over her head, and pulled on some jeans, buttoning them up. She found a brush under the bed and brushed her hair,
"Don't you care that I'm leaving?" Tre whispered, she could hear the hurt in his voice.
"Of course I fucking care Tre! I don't know what to do though. You live all the way in California. I live here." She said, busying herself with organizing the top of her dresser.
"You should come with... " He said, looking at his fingers.
"But Tre... My family is here. My work. My friends!" She said, finally giving up on the organization, she just swept her arm across the dresser, letting everything fall to the floor.
"But... I'm gonna miss you... A lot. Our manager already booked our flights for later this afternoon." He told her.
"We can keep in touch, and, we... " She stopped talking; otherwise she knew she would start crying.
Before she knew it, tears were streaming down her cheeks, his arms wrapping themselves around her stomach, him pulling her close to him.
"It's okay... Shh... " He whispered. He did this for a while until he heard her crying come to a stop.
"It'll be okay. Promise." He held his hand out for her and she took it. He pushed her gently into the bathroom, so she could splash her face with water. She came out looking refreshed, a fake smile plastered on her face.
"Promise." He pulled her into a brief hug. She smiled into his shirt, and then they made their way own the stairs.
"Heeeyyy Belly... " Billie Joe snickered into his hand, trying to cover up his amusement.
Annabelle walked up to him, smiling sweetly. Then she punched him in the arm.
"Oww!" Billie Joe whined, rubbing his arm. "Damn... You hit hard... You're like, the girl hulk... Hey... " He pulled her sleeve back. "Go like this." He flexed his arm and she did so, a confused look in her face.
"Damn... I'd be careful around her from now on Tre... " Mike said, which made Annabelle giggle.
"Let's go see a movie... I think that one movie is out... " Annabelle though for a moment, but came up with nothing.
"Oh yeah! I know that one!" Billie mocked.
"Yeah... That one Billie Joe." Annabelle smirked at him.
They ended up going to the movies (don't ask me what they saw... I have no clue what's in the theaters now, I'm too lazy to find out, so, make one up!), and the bought bundles of candy and popcorn and soda for a feast.
"Hey... I have a secret to tell you... " Tre whispered to Annabelle during the movie. She leaned over so he could whisper in her ear. Then, he let out a huge burp, causing many people to groan and shout, but some people to cheer him on.
"Heck yes!" He shouted as Annabelle giggled quietly.
Tre then pretended to yawn, while stretching his arm over his head, and resting one arm around Annabelle's shoulders.
"You are such a cheese ball." Annabelle shook her head, but leaned into him.
The movie ended, and they walked out of the theater.
"So... What do ya guys want to do?" Annabelle cocked her head to the side.
"We could... Ahhh... I don't know." Mike shrugged.
"Lets go to the mall... Come on!" Annabelle grabbed Tre's hand and pulled him with her. They climbed in the car, Mike and Billie Joe in the backseat, Tre in the front with Annabelle.
Annabelle drove for a few minutes, and then pulled into a parking lot, shifting into park.
For the next few hours they wandered around the mall, until Billie looked at his watch.
"Damn... " He muttered.
"What?" Annabelle asked.
"We have to go." Billie told her.
"Oh... Okay, come on then... " They walked, almost solemnly out to her car, and she drove to her house so they could load all of their stuff in her car, then she drove them to the parking lot.
They had gotten there early to check in and stuff, but them they just had to wait. Tre nudged Annabelle.
"What?" She said, trying to hold back tears for the second time that day.
"Come on... We'll be right back!" He said. He grabbed her hand, pulling her with him.
"What are we doing?" She asked him.
"Shh... " Was all he said.
He had her stop outside the Men's restroom, and he went inside. Grumbling, he came out almost instantly. Annabelle gave him a confused look. He pushed her into the Women's restroom, telling her to check if anyone was in there. She came out nodding her head. He sighed, a look of concentration on his face. He grabbed her hand, pulling her into the janitor's closet while nobody was watching.
"What are we do-." He stopped her by placing his mouth gently on hers, and kissing her. He pulled away with a grin on his face.
"That was it?" She said, looking somewhat disappointed. He shook his head, pulling out a condom. Annabelle raised her eyebrows, nodding.
Annabelle giggled as she check to make sure no one was looking, then pulled a giggling Tre out with her.
"Where were you guys?" Mike asked, an eyebrow raised.
"We were... Checking out the... Janitorial supplies." Annabelle coughed.
"Yeah... " Tre agreed, sitting down and pulling Annabelle onto his lap.
"Flight A468, please board now." Tre pulled his ticket.
"That's us... " He sighed.
"Hold on a sec." Annabelle pulled out a piece of paper from her purse a jotted a few things down. She handed it to Tre.
"Bye." She whispered, him pulling her into a hug.
"Bye." Tre whispered back.
Mike and Billie said goodbye, accompanied by hugs.
When Tre sat down in his seat, he took out the piece of paper from his pocket, unfolding it. It was her cell, home phone, and he e-mail address. He smiled, resting his head on the head rest, closing his eyes.
