The Special Story, chapter 5
Natalie's POV
I saw all the guys on the ground blacked out. This was not good. The bullies picked me up and dragged me to Her. "Now that those losers are out of the way would you like to be friends again," she said smiling. "No," I said under my breath. "What, you mean you want to be friends with Cassidy and her perverted friends." she asked. I heard somebody walking behind me. I quickly turned around, it was Cassidy. I smiled, she had a black eye. "You... Need some... Help if... Your gonna... Get rid... Of us just for... A girl... That isn't... Really your friend...," she said in raspy breaths. She clutched her chest tightly and fell to the floor breathing hard. "You... You monster," she yelled out before she went out cold. "What the fuck is your problem!? YOU ARE A MONSTER! All this for popularity," I sighed walking away from her.
Tre's POV
I felt a hand on my shoulder, I moaned, "What am I dead yet?" "Nope, I told Maya off and now she should leave us alone," she said smiling weakly. I tried to get up, my leg hurt so bad and so did my arm, infact everything hurt. "Let's go find the others before She finds them first," I said. I ran behind Natalie as quickly as my leg would carry me.
I saw Billie Joe and Mike laying on the ground they looked in pretty bad situations. I tried and shake Billie Joe awake a few times, "Wake up, Billie, please don't let Her win." I opened his eyes and moaned, "No chance she'll win." He smiled weakly and stood up I could see him wincing. I wondered over to Natalie trying to wake Mike. I saw him open his eyes, "So what'd I miss?" We all chuckled weakly. "Where is Cassidy," I said in a worried tone. They all shrugged, "Isn't she the one She hates the most," Mike asked nervously. "Um... Yeah," Natalie replied biting her lip. We all wondered around trying to find her. The sun was setting and we still hadn't found her. I saw something lying in the mud and I went over to investigate.
I had trouble making out what it was. "Hey guys I found something," I yelled. My stomach dropped. It was her and she was face down in the mud and water. I flipped her over and frown, her face was pale and she was barely breathing. She was gonna die and I didn't even have the chance to say good-bye. I heard the others walk up behind me, "Is she ok," Billie Joe asked in a nervous voice. I didn't even bother answering I couldn't speak I had a horrible lump in my throat. I heard a moan coming from behind me, I quickly turned around. "Everything hurts," she moaned in a raspy voice. "Oh god, we really have to get her there, fast," Natalie said in a panicked voice. "I called them and they are on there way," Mike said. "Ok, now let's not panic," Natalie said. "Who's panicking? I can't even move," Cassidy said trying to smile. "You're still awake," I asked. "Yeah... Kinda... Ow...," she replied.
I pulled her up and smiled weakly at her, "I think you only have a black eye." "I hope so," she said wincing. "We should get home, together," Natalie suggested. "Yeah, ok, lets just not let Cassidy's mother see her black eye her mom would freak out," Mike suggested. "Sounds good," I said. And we all tried to calmly make out way home.
"Hey mom," she hollered, "Do you mind if some of my friends come over to work on homework?" "Sure, if you do actually work on it," she replied. "We will, we will," she said annoyed. We all walked in and quickly ran up to my room.
"How about we get started on our homework," Natalie said in a nerdy voice. We all pulled out our stuff and began to work. "I really thought you where a goner," I said worriedly. "This dude walked up to me threw me to the ground and started beating on me," she said frowning. Mike quickly tried to change the subject, "How much homework did you guys get anyways?" "Not that much," we all said at the same time. We all continued to do our homework.
When we were done I suggested, "Why don't we all go outside?" "Sure," we all ran downstairs and went out the door. I got a swing and sat on one next to Cassidy. "Why is Maya so desperate," Mike asked. "Because she is stubborn stuck up Her, we can't change her but we can protect each other from her and her snob 'boyfriends," Natalie joked. I jumped onto the swing and swung really high. Then, I jumped off and landed really far. "Whoa, you went really far," Cassidy commented, "Let me try." "I don't think you should especially after that beating," I said. "You sound like my mother, but I won't jump because I see what you mean," she joked. I just smiled. Natalie jumped of right next to me and she jumped farther. "Looks like we've got the jumping off swing champion," Mike said grabbing her wrist and raising her arm up in the sky. "Woot," cried Billie Joe. "How abouts we go to Giant and buy sugar," I said. "Sounds great," Cassidy said and we all started making our way to Giant.
When we got there I asked, "Ok, who gots the cash?" Natalie pulled a twenty out of her pocket. "Sweet," Mike said. "I want the butterscotch," Natalie complained. "Then get them," Cassidy commented. "Ok," she replied pulling out a bag of the butterscotch thingies. Cassidy grabbed a bag of chocolate and asked, "I like chocolate can we buy this?" Natalie smiled and tossed it into the basket. "Let's go to the bakery," Billie Joe suggested. "SUGAR," I hollered. "How about we get a few muffins," Natalie suggested. "It's your money," Mike said. She grabbed a few muffins put them into a bag and tossed it into the basket. "I want those little mini packages of doughnuts," whined Mike as he grabbed a chocolate mini package of doughnuts. Natalie grabbed and threw it into the basket. "I think this will be enough candy and crap for a year," Natalie said walking towards checkout.
When we got home Mike asked, "Where are all the butterscotches?" I went red, I had eaten them all. "You ate all of those," Billie Joe asked. "Yup," I said smiling proudly. "Um... Read the bag," Cassidy said almost laughing. I read, "Excessive consumption may cause laxative effect. What the fuck does that mean?" "Um... It means if you eat too much of those things they are gonna make you shit," Cassidy said laughing. My stomached dropped, they were taking already. I quickly ran to the bathroom.
I came out to all the guys laughing. I pouted. I looked at the clock it was nine, "I think we should go home and get to bed." They all pouted and started packing up there stuff. "Bye," I waved to Cassidy before we were off and walking home.
