The Special Story, chapter 7
Tre's POV
I knew it she didn't love me but you know I shouldn't have figured no chick will ever go for a horny dude like me. I sighed. "Tre is something the matter," she asked. "Nah... Nothing," I said in a sad voice. "Really Tre I want to know what's a matter, you haven't been acting yourself since the fire," she continued.
My POV
There has to be someway I can tell Tre how much I love him, acting kind doesn't seem to work. I mean who would go for me; I am just a skinny, lanky, blonde. He seems annoyed at me. I wish I knew what was wrong with him; this love thing is so confusing! "I'm just kinda depressed ok, I made you run in the burning building with my idiotic self and you almost killed yourself," Tre said in an annoyed voice. "I had to save you Tre I could lose you the truth is Tre..." I tired to spit it out.
Tre's POV
Was she really gonna say she loves me. Doubt it. I started feeling all weird inside getting excited if she was really gonna say it.
My POV
"Tre..." I struggled to say. "I... I... Love... You," I managed to blurt out. I felt myself going red. I looked at him and he smiled, "Do you mean that?" "Of course I do, silly. Who couldn't love a guy like my Tre Cool," I said smiling and patting him on the back. "Tre I have one last question, do you love me back," I asked nervously. "Um... Yeah of course I do," he said back. "You didn't sound so sure, "I said nervously. He hollered, "I LOVE YOU! Is that good enough?" I smiled. "So you guys are like boyfriend and girl-friend now," Mike asked. "Maybe," Tre said kissing me on the cheek. I heard the phone ring and I picked it up,
"Yeah?"
"Are you a student from Robert Frost Middle school?"
"Yeah."
"You will have school tomorrow and we will send you a bus regarding."
"Um... Ok thanks." I hung up. "Who the hell was that," Billie Joe asked. "The school saying that we have school tomorrow and that they would send a bus over to bring us to our new school," I replied. "I wonder how people are going to respond to your cast," Mike commented. "They probably will be jealous," I said laughing. "What are we going to do tonight," Mike asked. "How about we go to the Rio and buy stuff," Tre suggested. "Sounds cool to me," Billie Joe said. "Me too," Natalie said. "Bring all your money, because I don't think my mother likes to give children money," I joked. "How about we combine our money and we get a huge total and we can all have a fifth of the total," Natalie suggested. 'I'm bad at fractions, how about we just lend each other money I few need it," Tre suggested. We all nodded in agreement. Tre smiled and looked proud of himself for thinking up such a great plan. I no longer felt alone in the world, I felt like I had friends that would protect me forever.
Tre's POV
This was the greatest day in my life, my love loved me back. I almost fainted at the thought of her loving me as much as I loved her. I guess the sayings are true there is a true love for everyone. "What do we do now," Billie Joe asked. "Lets go," I said finding my way out the door.
When we got to the Rio we found ourselves near a Target and we walked in. "How about we get some hamburger buns for the geese," Natalie suggested. "Sounds cool," I said grabbing a bag of buns for each of us. "How about we get some fake Slurpies," I said almost laughing. "Yum," Billie Joe said sarcastically. We all grabbed our cups and started filling them up. We paid for our buns and "slurpies" and went to feed the geese.
"Ow," cried Mike, "It bit me." We all laughed. I could see Cassidy was having some trouble feeding the geese with her cast and crutches. I walked over and grabbed some of her bun and ate it out of her hand. "Looks like we have our own little pet goose over here," Cassidy said. I made honking noises as she handed me the bread. One goose bit me on the bottom I stood up quickly and said, "Ow... You damn goose!" I saw She walked by and rolled her eyes at me. "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM," I hollered not knowing what I was saying, "YOU EXPECT US TO FALL TO YOUR KNEES AND BE YOUR SERVANT! WE WILL NEVER! CAUSE YOU ARE THE BIGGEST BITCH IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND PLEASE JUST LEAVE US TO OUR LIVES AND YOU CAN GO AND GET YOUR OWN!" She looked alarmed. Mike whispered something to Cassidy and she smiled evilly. Mike walked over to Her and started talking to her. I saw him patting her on the back and putting bread down her shirt?! She didn't notice. He walked away waving and smiling. 'What the fuck, Mike," Billie Joe said. "You'll see," he said. The geese began to follow her and started pecking at her. We were all laughing our heads off. We heard her yelling and saw her running and we all walked off as if nothing had happened.
The sun was setting. "How about we rent a paddle boat," I suggested. "Oo... How romantic," Natalie said jokingly. Cassidy stared at her menacingly. Then we got on our boat and I was stuck paddling due to Cassidy's cast problem. And Natalie, Mike and Billie Joe were on another boat. We paddled around the lake and we admired the sunset, "What a beautiful night, Cassidy said. "Yeah, I wonder what school we are going to tomorrow," I brought up. "Hopefully one that won't burn up," Cassidy replied. I moved in closer and closer for a kiss then a phone rang. "I should get that," Cassidy said pulling away embarrassed. "Yeah," she replied turning on the phone. She had a conversation with what I think was her mother. "We have to go home now," she said frowning. We made our way to the car and we were all quiet on the way home.
