Where Did Green Day Go???, chapter 5
Tré opened the door. He came back inside and he had a look of disappointment and anxiety in his face.
"It's not Mike guys, it's some random dudes with guns and shit. Their pretty scary. They wanna talk to Abby."
Everyone looked at Abby. She bit her lip.
"Oh shit." Magenta looked at her.
"Abby, what's going on? Tré, what did these people look like?"
"Well, they had blue suits on and orange ties and sunglasses. They had these weird guns too." Tré said. Suddenly Plumbob squeaked.
"Oh no! The Punishers!" He said. He glared at Abby.
"What did you do!" He said and pointed his finger at her. Abby looked down at the ground.
"Um... .well. I wanted to surprise Magenta for her birthday and I kinda saw the advert for the time travel trip and I thought "Hey why not?" so I went down to the centre but they said that I didn't have enough money. There was an elevator just sitting there near reception so I fiddled with its controls a little.
"YOU REPROGRAMMED THE STARTING COORDINATES FOR A TIME TRAVEL MACHINE!!!!" Plumbob screamed as he hopped up and down. Tré and Billie Joe looked at each other in confusion.
"What's going on? Billie asked. Plumbob pressed a button on his watch and two darts shot out of them and hit Billie and Tré. They slumped to the floor unconscious.
"Abby you idiot!" Magenta yelled.
"I did it for you!" Abby said as tears started to spill down her cheeks. "I wanted you to have a good birthday!"
"Abby you shouldn't have done it. I wouldn't have minded what you got me for my birthday." Magenta lowered her voice and hugged Abby.
"I hate to interrupt but we have The Punishers after us!" Plumbob squeaked. "I'll be sacked for sure! Or worse!" He pulled Abby and Magenta apart.
"Go on then. Go to them!" Plumbob said.
"Wait, what will they do to her?" Magenta said.
"They'll put her in a maximum security prison for a few years." Plumbob shrugged. Abby started to cry even more.
"There's no point crying about it. You brought this all on yourself." Plumbob said. Magenta turned to him and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and lifted him up off the ground.
"You do something to help us." Magenta said and shook Plumbob. "You have as much to lose as Abby, so think of something or I swear to god I'll rip your fucking head off!" This outburst startled even Magenta. She dropped Plumbob as she tried to calm herself down. Abby stopped crying and stared at Magenta in shock. Plumbob looked terrified.
"O-O-OK." Plumbob said. He sorted his collar.
"We have to move fast." He pointed his wristwatch at the air and suddenly the hole in the roof and the elevator appeared. The doors opened.
"Hurry!" They ran inside.
"What about Billie and Tré?" Magenta said. They were still lying on the floor.
"I don't have time to erase their memories!" Plumbob said as the doors were closing. They could see The Punishers running into the house just as the doors snapped shut. Plumbob hurriedly pushed switches and dials, and suddenly the lift was in motion again.
"What do you mean erase their memories!" Abby asked.
"They cant remember us! That could change history!" He exclaimed. "But its too late now."
"What I meant was what will The Punishers do to them!" Magenta yelled.
"Hopefully nothing! Luckily they haven't gotten too involved." Plumbob said. Magenta and Abby gripped the handrails as the elevator sped up. This time it was going up the way.
"Where are we going?" Abby said. The elevator crashed to a halt and the doors opened.
