Three's a Crowd, chapter 3
Lucie looked over to Krysten and some how she could tell exactly what she was thinking, so she decided she would make the most of it.
'ha haa! He's married, and if you do anything you'll be put to shame! ' she whispered.
'great friend you are' krysten said. Bilie was still looking at her. He opened his mouth to say something, btu was quickly interupted by Tre.
'Hey girls do you wanna go for a walk around the concert arena? ' he looked hopefully at Lucie.
'Yea sure! ' Lucie squeaked. She began to blush again at the strange sound that escaped her mouth.
'Good, I was just about to ask the same question, lets go, ' Billie added.
They began to leave the room and Tre put his arm around Lucie and said something to her under his breath that made her laugh. Krysten looked over to Billie who had just asked he a question.
'so, whats your favourite song of ours? ' Krysten took a minute to think.
'I don't really have a favourite' she replied. 'I mean, they're all my favourites, spose it just depends what mood I'm in. But if I had to pick, id have to say Poprocks n coke... OR Brain Stew, ' she added.
Billie looked at her as if surprised by what she said. 'what was they the wrong choice or something? ' she asked.
'no, I was just surprised that you picked old songs, you actually looked like one of those teeny boper girls that only know the songs off of American Idiot. ' he finished.
'so is that alrite that I like your older songs, or were you hoping that i'd pick American Idiot songs? ' She said sarcasticly. ' but i'll tell ya which one of your oldest songs I totally love, Look For Love. ' she ended with a small grin o her face.
He blushed. Tre had obviously heard what she had said because he turned around and laughed. 'oh look BJ, she likes your first song. ' Billie just glared at him. 'But hey, if you know that song, have you heard any of mine? ' he asked.
Lucie and Krysten just laughed. Tre knew exactly why, and just at that moment, Krysten began to do her impersonation of Like a Rat Does Cheese and everybody laughed.
'suck my dick until your lips fall off, don't make me ask again pleeeaaassee! ' then Tre carried on and everybody laughed again.
'I like Dominated Love Slave too' she added and Tre began to sing the song.
They finally made their way to the concert arena and immediately Tre began to jump all over the seats.
Billia began to show Krysten how all of the gear up on stage worked. They found a guitar on the ground behind the stage.
'can you play any songs? ' he asked her.
'I kinda can, I have been practising Wake me up when september ends and when I come around... Ooo and I can also do a bit of Brain stew, ' she finished excitedly.
'well c'mon, lets see what you can do... ' and he passed the guitar to her.
'i've never played an electric guitar before, ' She said
'just play it like an acoustic' he told her. So off she went.
'woah, Billie she's good, bit slow, but sounds great when she gets her fingers right! ' Tre called out from the seats. Krysten Began to play Brain Stew and Billie began to sing. Tre jumped up onto the stage and sat down at his drums, and sure enough it sounded great until it came to the main bit.
Billie looked at Krysten wierdly, then took the guitar.
'here, this is how you do it. ' he said showing her how he slid his fingers to each fret. While all of this was happening, Lucie had joined them up onstage, and Tre had begun to give her some lessons on the drums, she wasn't too bad, but compared to Tre, she was terrible.
'what other instruments do you play? ' Billie asked.
'well, I used to play the saxaphone for four years, but I got sick of it, ' she said 'so I quit. '
Billie looked at her with wide eyes, 'hey I just took up the saxaphone! Maybe you could give me some pointers! ' he looked hopeful.
'Ha! I doubt it, you'd probably know what I do, probably even more. ' he continued to stare.
'geez, don't doubt yourself, you give up way too easily' he said
That was exactly what the guys outside had told her.
'Knowledge, ' he said.
'what? ' she asked
'Knowledge, the song..." all I know is that I don't know nothin". Those particular words suit you, ' he finished.
