The Bully, chapter 1
Billie Joe was going to his son's (Joey) school to pick him up. He waited by his car that was in front of the school parked on the side of the street. At about 3:00, buses started arriving and Billie Joe had to move his car to the back parking lot. As he came walking around the side of the school, he saw a girl about 10-years-old walking to her bus when two boy came up from behind her knocked all the books out of her hands and jumped infront of her and took the walkman headphones off her head and started listening to what she was listening to.
"Ooh, what'cha listening to?" one boy said. "Never mind, I'll just check." He listened to the walkman for a second and pulled them off his head and threw them back at the girl.
"Tsk, tsk, Green Day is not appropriate for you, missy" he said. They both ran off, leaving the girl to pick everything up. Billie Joe shook his head and went up to the girl.
"Can I help you?" he asked her. The girl looked behind her and went wide-eyed at who she saw. The girl nodded and smiled. Billie Joe smiled, too. After they picked up everything, the girl thanked him.
"I'm Rebecca," the girl said holding out her hand. Billie Joe shook it and was about to say who he was, but she said, "And you're Billie Joe Armstrong, my biggest role model and the best singer on earth." He nodded.
"Yeah, that's me," he said as he laughed. Rebecca asked for his autograph and he signed her American Idiot CD.
"Thank you so much!" she said. She walked away and hugged her CD. She jumped on the bus and showed her friends.
"Dad?" a voiced said behind Billie Joe as The buses drove away. Billie Joe turned around and saw Joey.
"Oh, sorry," Billie Joe said. "Let's go."
