Waiting For The Moment, chapter 1
Billie Joe was hanging out with Tre, and Mike. They were having a party at Mike'shouse, and there were a lot of people there. Mike wanted to tell him something, but he wouldn't tell him untill later. He then looked across the room, and spotted the most beautiful woman in the world.
"I need to know who that is." Billie said, not noticing that Mike was right behind him.
"Need to know who?" Mike asked sitting down next to his buddy Billie.
"That girl," he said pointing to her "I NEED to know who she is, she's so... So..." he said "pretty" he whispered. He hadn't noticed what he just said. "I mean I just want to meet her. She seems cool." he said trying to cover up.
Mike looked at Billie like he had just said that a girl was 'pretty'. He was sorta shocked. 'What am I gonna tell him now? ' Mike thought for a moment.
Tre was across the room. He looked at Mike and Billie, "Why?" Tre asked outloud, but no one could hear him. "Why can't I ask him? Stop being so babyish, I'm Tre Cool. I'm going to tell him... Tomorrow." Tre said, and walked over to Mike and Billie.
Billie stood up. He approached the girl. "Hey." he said, trying to act casual.
"Ohh hi." she said. "Aren't you Billie Joe, you played earlier with that band, what was it again... Green Day?"
"Yea! That's me, Billie Joe Armstrong." Billie said smiling. "Would you like to hang out sometime with me and my friends?"
"Sure, is it alright if I crash here with you guys tonight?" She asked. "By the way, my name's Adrianne."
"Yea. Come on, I'll introduce you to the others." Billie said leading her to Mike and Tre.
Mike watched as his hopes and dreams crashed and burned. He looked at Tre. "So what's up buddy?" he asked, trying to hide his sadness.
"I want to tell you something... I... I..." Tre started to say, but was interupted when Billie came back with his friend.
"Hey guys, this is Adrianne, she's gonna crash with us tonight." Billie said, his eyes not leaving Adrianne's.
Adrianne smiled trying to show that she was nice. "Hi."
Tre and Mike nodded at Adrianne. "So what were you going to tell me Tre?" Mike asked.
"Wha? Ohh, nothing. It's... Nothing." Tre said, seemed less hyper than usual.
"Okay, whatever." Mike said. He stood up and said. "It's nice to meet you Adrianne." He said trying to hide his emotions for Billie, and pretend he was happy for him.
The people at the party started to leave, since it was about 2:00 a. M. Mike had fallen alseep on the couch, and Tre fell asleep on the other couch across from him, so he could see him. Adrianne and Billie were no where to be found in the living room.
Mike woke up first, and looked at Tre. He then walked past him, and upto the stairs. He went towards his door. It was opened, last night the last thing he remembered was his door being closed. He opened it, and saw Billie, laying on his bed. He wasn't alone. Next to him in bed was Adrianne. He stumbled backwards, making a loud thumping noise.
"I need to know who that is." Billie said, not noticing that Mike was right behind him.
