Penguins in the Caribbean, chapter 18
Zafera felt a bit better that he would leave her alone until he was done with the other girl. Hopefully he didn't have a short attention span and didn't get bored of her soon.
She walked home... But she felt unsure about everything... What if Ollie was home and she found her not there at like... 1 ish in the morning?
All thoughts were lost when she saw Billie asleep on the porch. She smiled to herself. She didn't want to wake him up.. But it was getting pretty cold out. Luckily she didn't have to wake him up. He stretched and stopped everything for a few minutes to realize what was going on.
".. Billie... Get inside." she smiled and helped him up. She followed him up the stairs and into his room. She jumped onto his bed and pulled his guitar case up on her lap.
"Play me one of your songs!" she demanded happily... Having the scary yet uplifting talk with Micky had put her in a better mood.
"Okay.. Which one? Seeing as you have been memorizing them behind my back." he smirked.
"Hmm... I know '2000 light years away'!"
"What you like that one?!?!"
"Yup now play it." she poked him. That started a poking war before she grabbed his finger and threatend to bite it off if he didn't play the song.
So she got comfortable stretched out of the bed with her chin resting in her hands. He sat cross legged on the bed and tunned his guitar.
She smiled almost to the point where it ached. At the end of the song she claped. "That was better then just reading it!"
"Stop you'll make me blush." he rolled his eyes.
"Aww Billie that was really good!" she kissed him one the cheek the stretched. "Well I'm gonna go to bed now byeee." she mentally kicked herself for kissing him. If she hadn't lef tI don't know what he would have done.
Billie sat his guitar down. It took awhile for everything to sink in. He was so confused now. He needed a smoke.
The smoke didn't really help. He opened his bedroom door to find to sleeping dogs on his bed. He decided to get really drunk and high, make a pillow igloo type thing in the bathroom. He collected the pillows, beer and hash in the bathroom.
Zafera heard 'What a Wonderful world' being sung in the echoey bathroom which disturbed her to a great extent. Seeing as it continued on for about ten minutes she sat up. The hard wood floors felt cold on her feet as she walked to the closed door to her right. She saw Billie in a mound of pillows (Based on true events.. I was actually on the phone with someone doing this... He was pretty funny! )
"Billie... What are you doing it's almost four in the morning!" he looked up at her swaying a bit obviously more then a bit drunk.
"Iumm... Ummm... Umm..."
"Nevermind." she helped him up into his room... But the poor puppies were sleeping and it was very hard to wake them up so she went to her room with Billie, plooping him on the bed.
"I know let's um... Umm WATCH A MOVIE!" he said like it was the best thing he had ever thought of in years.
"Billie we have school in three hours or something, we can't!"
"Aww come one we could stay home!.. I'll go ask my mom!" she pushed him on the bed when he tried to get up.
"No! I don't think that is the best thing to do." he gave her a pouty face. "No!"
"Come on! Can't we watch some movies!"
"Billie you will probably fall asleep after a half hour of it being on anyway!" she didn't want to admit it but that did sound like a pretty good idea it would give her time to recollect her thoughts and stay away from Micky.. Even if he wasn't going to do anything to her for awhile that doesn't mean he won't try and talk/fondle her.
"I promise I won't!"
"Okay... But just this once! We don't have that much of school left and I want to just get it over with!" Billie clapped pleased that she agreed to watch the movie.
Billie tried to jump on the coach but missed and landed beside it. Making both Billie and Zafera laugh histarically.
"Okay what movie?" Zafera asked while looking through the assortment of movies stacked my the tv.
"Ummm.. Ummmerrrss... Lion king!"
"No! Stop being an idiot!"
"Ok... Ok.. Umm little mermaid!"
"Sure fine what ever." she grumbled and put it in the VCR. Billie flopped on the coach beside Zafera and rested his head on her sholder. He was saying something but she couldn't and didn't want to here what he said.
"Billie shut up and watch the movie."
"Yesshhh mamsshhh" he saluted.
After watching Little Mermaid Zafera thought he would be ready to sleep but no they ended up watching a movie about a chicken man.
That movie ended around 7ish.. Ollie still wasn't up which was unusual but they didn't think to much of it.
"I'll never forget chicken man." Billie slurred then they both saluted. By that time Billie made her drink five beers so they were both pretty wasted.
"Ughh you can't go to school in that state!" Ollie tisked. They jumped when they heard her in the entrance. "I guess I should call the school seeing as you are late anyway... I hope this wouldn't happen again Billie!" she walked into the kitchen.
"Okay now you can stay here for the day but I don't want any complaining when I get home. Got it!"
"Okay!" Billie and Zafera said in unussion. They heard the front door close. They broke out in a giggle fit.
"Aaahh so what shall we do today?" Zafera stretched out on the couch. Their backs together so they could stay upright.
"Dunno... Wanna get high?"
"Billie we already are!" they laughed again.
"Okay so how bout we umm... After.. Umm.. We umm"
"Go get tylonal from the store and just play the whole day!"
"YEAH!" they got up and danced around like idiots which made them very dizzy. Billie grabbed Zafera as he was falling making her land on top of him.
"Billie look what you did! Making me fall! For shame!"
"I'm sorry!" he prettended to cry as he hugged her.
"I guess I could forgive you..." he looked happily at her. "BUT you will have to do something for me!"
"Oh please I will do anything just forgive me!" she pretended to think with her index finger on her chin.
"Okay... Anything?"
"Yeah! I promise."
"Go streaking down the street."
"Okay. That's easy I've done that before." he sat up.
"Wait! That's not all!" he stoped "You have to have a shower first." she giggled
"But I'lll freeze!"
"I know."
