"Oh crap... We gotta get to school!" Zafera reluctantly got up from the bed and walked down stairs.
Billie stretched, taking his sweet time walking to school, Zafera shook her head. "Why are you so lazy and unenthusiastic about school?" he looked at her as if she was growing a mustache.
"Are you insane?!?! Why do you think I don't like school?"
"Well you don't actually go to class and its basically like a weekend.. Even though its not.... Do you understand? It's hard to explain... Well it is to me at least."
"Um... Well I guess I kinda do. You really aren't good at explaining yourself are you?"
"Not really, I hate everything that has to do with talking to people... Particularly when it comes to talking about myself." She smiled feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"Yeah... I like singing and shit in front of lots of people but I don't really like talking. It's just different from singing some how."
Before Zafera could answer the school bell rang and Mike popped up from behind them.
"Boo!" they turned to him with unpleased expressions. "So how's everyone feeling today?" Mike asked, he seemed to be happier then usual.
"Fine."
"Great." Billie said "I'll see you guys later, have to meet a client. Bye Zafera." he walked off to where a couple of pot-heads were laying.
Zafera waved to him, she turned her attention to Mike he was smirking. "What?"
"Nothing."
"Tell me!"
"Ughh, can't you tell that Billie likes you!" she glared at him, not really wanting to think about if it was true or not.
"You liar, I have to go to class." She trudged off without another word. Mike just shook his head as he continued into the school.
She watched him fiddle with his pencil, what was he thinking about? Zafera bit her lip and looked away when he turned his head to face her muttering something in her ear, making her breath catch in her throat, Billie giggled, he passed her a folded piece of paper.
Zafera had to hold back her laughter as she read the song.

Zafera looked at him and just nodded her head while covering her mouth so that her giggles were muffled. Mostly everyone around her looked at her funny, but they didn't understand.
"Billie wait up!" Zafera pushed people out of her way. She waved frantically at Billie who laughed once she knocked someone into there locker by accident.
"That wasn't very nice." He pointed to they poor guy she hit.
"It was his fault for not moving." She shrugged "let's go." They walked through the busy mob of people to the cafeteria, where they were meeting Mike.
"Hey." Mike smirked at Zafera in a 'see he does like you' kind of way. She kicked him in the leg under the table.
Zafera walked down the hall way searching threw the people to find someone she knew. She did find someone she knew but unfortunately it was Micky. They made eye contact for a brief two seconds, he walked towards her.
"Why hello long time no see." He grabbed her arm leading her out to the back of the school, she barely even fought back because that would only hurt her more, what did he want this time? "You still hang out with Billie. I keep telling you not to yet you do." He shook his head ramming her against the brick wall.
"Fuck off! I can talk to who ever I want." She looked around. Someone came around the corner giving her an idea. "in fact I'll even demonstrate." She grabbed the kid who looked a bit like Tre and passionately kissed him. Opening her eye just a bit to see the reaction on Micky's face, it was red, she smiled when she pulled away from him. She gave him a smug look.
"Well that was a weird hello." She jumped in surprise. It had been Tre! Micky snarled, pulling Zafera away. Bang! There was gun fire. Everything was just a blur, when things went into focus she saw Micky collapsed on the floor. She jumped back slightly insurprise, not fear, her lip twitched daring her to brake out and smile. She was free.
Teachers came running out, Tre helped Zafera away from the scene. He looked a bit shocked. "Um... Well um... Yeah. You feeling okay? I mean he was your boyfriend and all... And um what was with the kiss?"
"I'm okay, and the kiss was nothing. I was proving my point, that's all." She hugged him for awhile then let go. "I have to go see Mike now."
While all this took place Billie watched from a tree. He frowned. Why did Zafera kiss Tre? It unsettled him to great extents.
At the end of the day Zafera waited for Billie at the school gates. She wanted to tell him about Micky now that he was gone, for good, she made a mental note to thank whoever it was that killed him. Billie never came, a little disappointed she walked home.
The weekend went by in a flash. But Billie was still uneasy about the kiss he witnessed. He didn't know why though. Here it was Sunday night and he was still thinking about Zafera and Tre. What if there was something going on between them?
He didn't want to keep thinking about it. Why was he so upset? Then it dawned on him. He was in love with Zafera.
