Wake Me Up When This Nightmare Ends, chapter 4
I heard another voice. It was Adrienne again. I didn't say anything.
"What? Do you know who's doing this? If you do. WE NEED TO KNOW NOW!" said Mike to the two policemen. "Look. We don't know who's doing this, but something like this has happened before. We'll do what we can." replied one of the policemen.
We all left the police stationa nd drove back to Mike's house. Mike was really angry now. I was upset and Tre was confused. Mike tried to call Sarah on her cell. No one answered. I really wanted Adie back. I tried to call her cell.
"Hello?"
"Oh my god Adie. Are you alright?"
"I'm alright. Billie I don't want to talk to you... Wait. Did something happen after I left?"
"My life's gone. Our house burnt down, someone stole Blue. You've taken the kids, you're gone and Mike cant find Sarah anywhere."
"FUCK. Are you serious? Our house burnt down? Blue's been stolen? Sarah's gone? Where are you?"
"I'm at Mike's. Can you please come over with the kids? I really want you back. The kids need a father. Please?"
"Alright. I'll come over and think about it." Adie started to cry.
"Adie?"
She had hung up. I closed my eyes and thought about her. If she took me back, We'd have no where to live. I need her. I hope she needs me. 15 minutes later someone knocked on the door. Mike went to open it. "Hey Mike. Billie here?" "Hey, yeah he is." Mike closed the door while Adrienne walked inside with the kids.
"Adie?" I stood up. I hugged her. She started to cry again. "It's going to be alright. If you take me back." Adrienne looked at me. "I will." she said. "DADDY!" shouted Joseph and Jakob. I hugged them both. "Aw, I miss you guys." I smiled. I was so happy, but still upset. "Aw, so cute!" said Tre. Mike looked really sad and left out. He had to find Sarah as soon as he could. "Mike." I said. "You alright?" "Yeah I'm fine." he said, wiping a tear from his eye. I looked at Adie.
