It was about 10 a.m I forgot that Andie had said she would be back around that time so when Billie Joe and I were sleeping so when she comes in through the door and goes to her bedroom and sees us she screams out.
"Holy FUCKING shit!! Natalie get the hell out of that bed. What were you thinking he's a 32 year old married man!!!!! " I jumped out of bed it wasn't all a dream it really happened. I was shocked but not in a bad way, it was the best night after the worst day of my life. Billie Joe didn't even seem to notice he just grunted and rolled over to a new position. I got out before he was able to put his arm around me. I Put on my Metallica shirt and some jeans. Then I went downstairs where Andie was pacing back and forth in the kitchen. I couldn't help but laugh.
"What the fuck were you thinking Natalie he's married he's older then you. Oh my god what if Adrienne finds out about this? She'll kill you and no one would really care they would think that slut deserved it." It hurt me to think something like that would come out of her mouth. But I knew she was mad so it didn't hurt all that bad.
"I'm sorry but when he came in last night I couldn't help myself he's just so hot. You would have done the same don't lie"
"I know I would but I already had sex you're a virgin.... well WERE a virgin how could you?" She was right I was always against it but it was Billie Joe Armstrong. He was the one person that made me forget all my pain, I couldn't help it I knew what I did but I didn't care I didn't care about anything anymore.
* 2 hours later *
We had calmed down and started talking about it like normal people.
" I don't know what came over me I know it was wrong to sleep with him but I couldn't help myself anymore." I explained to her hoping she could understand
"I know I would have done the same. But its shocking because your mom died a few hours ago but that didn't seem to matter did it?" She laughed joking around. I was a bit hurt by the comment but didn't show it.
"God. Is he still sleeping?" I asked hoping to steer away from the topic of my mother.
"For a virgin you wore him out. Are you sure you were a virgin? 'Cause I need to learn some of your tricks!" We laughed out loud together. It felt good to laugh and not cry. While we were eating we hear a crash in the next room. We jumped out of our seats and ran to Andie's bedroom to find Billie Joe tumbling over Andie's dresser.
"When the hell did I buy that?" He looked around the room confused. He thought this was his house he got so drunk last night he must have thought he went home and had sex with Adrienne.. Damn I thought to myself.
"Billie Joe your at my house you didn't get home you were to drunk." He looked at us he couldn't believe it.
"What? Oh shit Adrienne is gonna kill me she keeps thinking I'm sleeping with another woman now what am I gonna do?" He was dressing himself. He slowly starting putting everything together.
"Did I do anything last night with you?" He looked at me with those I swear I didn't mean to eyes. I didn't say anything the look on my face said it all. He started walking around talking to himself.
"I need a phone where's yours?" He looked worried.
"In the living room" Andie told him. She gave me this I knew this was gonna happen stare all I could do was stand there. I ruined someone else's life just then I heard someone put on "She" that song gotme through so many things but today it didn't seem to help. We walked to the living room and could hear Billie Joe talking to Tre` Cool on the phone he was asking if Adrienne called him he said she did. Tre` said he covered for Billie Joe but he was getting tired of covering for him every time Billie Joe decided to get drunk or stoned and pass out at some persons house. Billie Joe mumbled something we couldn't understand then got of the phone.
"Look what happened last night." Before he could finish I cut him off.
"Look it was my fault I could have stopped it but."
"No you don't understand. I knew where I was when I came in and I knew who you were but I still didn't stop myself." I couldn't believe what had just came out of his mouth neither of us could believe it. Andie and I were just in shock of what came out of his mouth.
"WHAT!" We shouted.
"You heard me I didn't stutter. Look things aren't good with Adrienne right now so if anyone asks nothing happened ok?"
"alright"
"Now where can I get something to eat around here?" He asked as if we were on of his maids.
"Cereal." I said coldly. I never let anyone talk to me like that no matter how hot or how famous they were.
"that's it?" He asked thinking we would jump at his every command but we weren't like that.
"With that bitchy ass tone hell yeah that's all their is." I answered back
"Well sorry mother!"
"Fuck You!" I told him storming out of the kitchen I could hear his voice behind me
"We already did last night did you forget becuase I won't. Not for a loooong time." I could hear him laughing all I could think was what a jackass. I bet Tre` or Mike were nicer then this. Billie Joe must be the meanest out of all of them. But I couldn't help but smile at what he said about last night. Still that didn't give him the right to treat me like that. I went to the bathroom and locked the door. I always kept a secret razor hidden just in case I got mad or something happened. I picked up where I left off that night before. Halfway through I heard a knock on the door.
"Natalie are you okay?" Asked Andie I could hear her smack him when he said that thing about last night.
" yeah I'm just calming down." She never thought I was hurting myself so she just let it go.
"I gotta go again I need to go to work but I'll be back at around 5:30 The Attorney should be here to talk about where your gonna live."
"Alright" I forgot about that. She was gonna have my court hearing the day after my mom's funeral which was next week.
"Alright" I said making sure my voice wouldn't crack because I was crying and with that she was gone. She didn't tell me if Billie Joe was there still so I thought he left. I took a shower and went to go get changed but when I got out of Andie's room I saw Billie Joe standing right in front of me with a questioning look on his face.
"Why do you need an attorney to decide which family member you'll live with. Are you so great that they are all fighting over weho gets to keep you for the next year." He asked assuming I had a family.
"I don't have any family my mom was the only child and so was I. My grandparents are dead so I have no one."
"What about your dad? He won't take you?" He could tell I got angry at the question.
"I have no father and even if he wanted to get custody of me I wouldn't let him." He felt sorry for me and tried to hug me but I didn't take it.
"We weren't all lucky enough to have a dad who gave us our first guitar or who was there to help us out. I know your dad died but at least you knew him I don't even know or care if he's dead or alive so don't try to comfort me!" I yelled at him he didn't care though he listened to me and comforted me. I fell to the floor because I was still a bit weak so he picked me up and put me on the couch.Sitting down Because he knew I wouldn't lay down he just wrapped his arms around me and let me cry I never felt so safe. I fell asleep on his shoulder. When I woke up I was on Andie's bed with his arms still around me when I got up he gave me one of his infamous sweet smiles. Before I sat down he got up and Started talking to me about the adoption thing.
"Look I know what your going through must feel like hell but have an idea."
"What?" I asked confused
"I could adopt you and take you on tours with me I need someone young and hot to fuck anyways." I was confused how would this work.
"How are you going to explain me to Adrienne or your kids?" I asked him thinking to myself this would never work.
"I'll just say had a little sister but I didn't know about it until a few months ago. But I didn't want to tell anyone because I wanted blood test to make sure this wasn't just some bullshit lie just to get money from me." This would never work we weren't even the same race who would believe that?
"Billie Joe there's a liitle no wait big problem with that."
"What."
"look at you and look at me how are you going to explain this?"
"Don't worry I'll think of something." He said and gave me a kiss. I didn't want the kiss to end but it had to with that he left. Before he left he said that I need to wake up around 2:00 A.M because there would be a package waiting for me outside. With that he was gone and I was left alone again.
