I woke up that morning to find Andie gone and a pakage next to me and a note from Andie on it. it said:
I woke up this morning to get ready for work but when I was leaving I saw this box for you it didn't say who it was from so I just left it here for you. I'll see you tomorow because I need to work the nightshift tonight too..

I looked at the package then I remebered what Billie Joe had said.Then I noticed Andie wrote something else.
P.S I wanna see what Billie Joe got you!!! You must have done some good tricks to him for him to have gotten you something that heavy.
I opened up the package to find a note from Billie Joe:
Natalie,
I was waiting to give you the box myself but you took too damn long so I'll just write down what I wanted to tell you. O.k here I go. I'm not gonna say I know what your going through but I understand somewhat what your feeling. It's hard and you feel like you have no one no matter how many people say they love you. I want you to know I'm not tryig to adopt you just to fuck you don't think that I'm not that kind of guy. You know that don't you?I told Adrienne about it she doesn't really buy it so I'll keep telling her more. I'll be back later.

I couldn't believe it he described how I felt every part. I knew the thing with Adrienne would never work how would she believe it? Andie was right the box was pretty heavy. I looked through it and found a cell phone with 5 numbers on speed dial already they were Billie Joe's cell Mike's Cell Tre's Cell Andie's cell and the house number. A book of Poetry I must have told him I love to write and read poetry but forgot about it. I also found some keys but I didn't what they were for I would just ask him when he got here and last I found the adoption papers he needed to fill out. Then I realized what would the attorney say about Billie Joe adopting me. She wouldn't like it I could tell what she thought about him the fisrt time she saw him. She was thinking *what a weirdo. What decent man would wear eyeliner and dress in tight black pants and shirts?* She was disgusted by it but I didn't care in the end it was my choice not hers. I decided to go back to sleep and wake up to take a shower later before that sandra lady came over. I slept longer then I had planned because next thing I knew Billie Joe was kissing my forehead to wake me up.
"Hi. mmm what time is it?" I asked getting up from the couch still a little sleepy.
"About 'noon' why what do you need to do?" He asked
"Oh that lady is supposed to be coming to talk aout where i'm gonna live I forgot to tell her that you volunteered she's supposed to be here in like 3 hours I should get ready" I said making my way to the bathroom
"Don't tell me you like to spend all day getting ready so that you never leave the house." He asked me while he was on the floor kneeling down with his hands together like he was praying I laughed at him.
"Hell No!! It's just that I'm gonna take a shower then I need to eat something and go to Phillip's house for a little bit." He got up quick and sure enough he had to ask
"Who's Phillip?" He asked with a hint of jealousy in his voice I smiled I never told him that I had a boyfriend but that's because he never asked.
"My boyfriend. I need to talk to him about my mom and about.......what happened..between.....us." I said a bit scared at what BIllie Joe would do when I told him. He got pissed off he was stompng around the house screaming at me saying.
"We agreed that we would never talk about this again!!!!!!! you swore to me." I had enough of this.
"I never swore shit and I need to tell Phillip because he's my boyfriend and he needs to know because I love him!"
"Well if you loved him then why did you have sex with me!!!!!!!" he yelled out I hoped no one could hear us arguing I was getting light headed but I didn't care I had enough of this.
"I had sex with you becuase I was still weak and vulnerable plus your the hottest guy alive but that doesn't matter I'm gonna tell Phillip and you can't stop me!!!!!" I screamed I started to leave when Billie Joe grabbed my arm he calmed down when he heard me say what I said about him.
"You really think I'm hot?" He asked and I couldn't help but smile he knew what everyone thought he just wanted to hear it from me.
"You know everyone alive thinks your hot but I need to tell Philip he needs toknow the truth.

"No if he see you there who knows what he'll do he is a bit overprotective of me."
"Well so am I."Billie Joe said wrapping his arms around. I never felt so safe with anyone before besides Phillip. Billie Joe pulled me back and kissed me. It was the most passioate kiss I wanted it to last forever but it couldn't I had to pull away.
"No. this isn't right I have a boyfriend who loves me. I mean he even proposed to me were gonna get married" I told Billie Joe showing him the ring Phillip gave me on our fourth anniversary.
"But I thought you liked it when I kissed you?" he asked with a hint of mischief in his voice.
"I do that's exactly why we need to stop." With that being said I went to the bathroom in Andies room locked the door to her room and the took a shower and changed. I wore my Kiss Me I'm Punk shirt that I had modified with some black jeans that had chains and my leather chuck hight tops because Phillip loved this outfit. I figured I might as well do something he liked since I wasabout to tell him I was a slut. I walked outside to find Billie Joe sitting down watching t.v it was 1:30 I had no time to go eat. I tried to tell Billie Joe I was leaving but he ignored me. Oh well I left t go talk to Phillip.
I knocked on Phillip's door his mom answered she didn't speak englishso I had to speak in spanish.
"Hola senora esta Phillip?" I asked her she always knewwe would end up together so she treated me like family alredy. She would let me go in his room and lock the door she gave me more trust then I deserved.
"Si. esta en su cuarto Entra pero tiene la musica entonces var tardar en contecar la puerta." She said.
"Gracias" I told her afraid to look in her eyes because she could always tell when something was wrong. But then again so could Phillip. It took forever for him to answer the door and when he did I kissed him and held him like I never wanted to let go he let me in and closed the door behind him.
"What's wrong Natalie?" He asked while hoding me I was scared to tell him because I didn't want tolose him but I knew there was no denying the truth. I just couldn't tell him there.
"Can we talk at the beach instead?"
"YEAH sure let me grab a jacket first." He said and went to his closet and grabbed his metallica sweater that I got him for his birthday. Then I remebered about the woman so I told Phillip I needed to make one quick call and he said ok before I left he kissed me an said.
"whatever it is we'll work it out." I looked away and thought *How could we work this out?*
I called Billie Joe hoping he was still at my house. The phone rang a few times then he picked up.
"hello" he said with an attitude he knew it was me.
"Are you still at my house?"
"yeah what do you want?" He just wouldn't let it go
"I'm gonna spend a longer time with Phillip then I thought if thatlady goes over there tell her to come back tommorow please!" I begged
"Fine. Whatever" And with that he hung up
"Are you ready?" He asked when I came back in the room
"yeah lets go" We told his mom bye and headed towards the beach.It was a twenty mionute walk to the beach we walked in silence just holding hands and looking around us. We went to our spot and he held me in his arms I finally broke the silence.
"I will always love you and no matter what happens I hope you will love me to." He knew something big had happened but he just held me closer and said
"NO matter what happens I will always love you I swear I will love you until the day I die."
"promise?" I asked him
"Promise that ring on your finger proves it." I looked at my ring it was beatiful he bought it with all the money he had in his bank. I still had the black ring he gave me while he tried to pay for my engangment ring. I sighed in deeply and just started to explain
"Phillip....my mom is......dead." I started to cry he wiped the tears from my eyes and kissed me then said
"When did it happen? and what is that scar on you forehead?" I rubbed my forehead explained to him about how what happened when they told me we were facing each other now and then I started talking about how we met Green Day and how I started talking to Billie Joe. He just looked and nodded holdng me everytime I started to cry. Then I told him about Billie Joe staying with me he was getting a bit angry he didn't show it but we have been together so long we could just tell.
"That night Billie Joe got drunk he went into my room......"
"Did he do anything to you!! I swear i'll kill him I don't care who finds out if he laid one.." I put my fingers on his mouth to calm him down and told him to let me finish.
" WE had..........sex" He look like he wanted to die I couldn't help but cry more to my surprise he still wiped away my tears
"I know that you feel like hell right now and I'm not mad you were weak and he was drunk you couldn't help it" I was shocked at how calm he was being about it but whenI looked in his eyes all I saw was haze for the first time in my life I couldn't tell what he was thinking. He fnally said
"Natalie, I think that for a while we just take a break" He started to cry but I simply wiped his tears away and kissed him. We both started to cry we held each other I was going to give him my ring but he said we would be back together and we just walked back to our houses he dropped me off at home where Billie Joe was waiting for me
"Where the hell were you!" Then everythng went black.
