Just before I was able to hit the vein I heard someone ask.
"Natalie. What are you doing?" I looked up to Phillip who knelt down beside me and took the razor out of my hand.
"How did you get in?" I asked I locked the door as soon as Angel left.
"Andie gave me a key just in case I ever needed a a plcae to crash, that doesn't matter what were you trying to do?" I broke down and told him everything he was pissed and got up and started screaming out.
"I SWEAR I MAY NOT HAVE KILLED HIM THE FIRST TIME BUT THIS TIME I WON'T STOP UNTIL HIS PULSE IS GONE!!!!!!!" He was walking out the door but I grabbed his arm and said.
"Don't leave me I don't want to be alone." He sat down next to and said.
"You need to call the cops."
"No I can't and I don't want you to do it either."
"But..."
"No I would prefer if we just put this behind us." He looked down his hair was covering his eyes but I saw the tears falling. He finaly said.
"Alright. I promise I won't tell but if I see him I will do something I can't be held resposible for." I looked at him scared of what he might do and where he could end up. He turned my arm around and lifted the sleeve seeing all my cuts. He looked shocked at how deep most of them were he finally asked me.
"Are all of these from......"
"No." I felt like I was stabbing him.
"How long have you been cutting?"I looked down
"3 years." He looked shocked. It took him awhile before he could talk. Tears started rolling down his eyes. He never thought I would be the type of person who could do that, and he had known me a long time.
"Why didn't you come to me with your problems?Why did you have to do this?"
"Because I didn't want to throw my problems on you. You have your own things to worry about."
"But that's why I'm here I love you."The one verse from Redundant was playing over and over in my head. *I love you's not enough I'm lost for words* I wished I could tell him that but I knew he would die if I ever told him that.
"I'll try to talk to you next time I promise." I would try that's the best I could do.
"Alright." We fell asleep in the bed he was holding me tightly.His body was warm and the blanket was to but I couldn't feel it I was cold inside and out there was no way I could warm myslef up. I fell asleep after so much excitment I was exhausted. When I woke up Phillip wasn't next to me. *He must've left before I woke up* Andie got home sometime after the drama because as soon as I opened the door I saw her door shut and I could hear My Chemical Romance in the room.
I walked into the living room and saw Phillip watching FUSE.
"Hey I thought you left." I said sitting down next to him.
"Well I didn't want t leave you alone." He said kissing me. I got up and went to the kitchen.
"Is there anything to eat?" He came in.
"Cereal."
"Damn we ain't got shit to eat here." We laughed and decided to go to the store. We walked since I knew he wouldnt want to go in my car.We were having fun and joking around shopping until we went to go pay. I was looking into my wallet and Phillip was looking at the candy. We shot our heads up as soon as we heard the clerks voice.
"Hey" It was Angel he looked at me with a smirk on his face. I felt asdirty as I had the night before. I tried to grab Phillip's hands as soon as he saw him but he had them in fists. Angel was making fun of him like a little kid poking a dog with a stick.
"Did Natalie tell you I went to go visit her last night?" He said while looking at me. I paid the groceries and was trying to leave but Phillip stopped me.
"Yeah. she did and let me tell you something you better be glad your in a public place right now or you'd be dead!" Phillip snarled. But Angel was laughing.
"You have no proof I did anything last night I saw her when she was taking a shower." He laughed Phillip jumped over the counter. I stoppped him before he could touch Angel.
"Phillip NO! you'll end up in more trouble then he could."
"Yeah I dare you to hit me." Angel knew Phillip had a short temper and he would hit him regardless of what I said eventually. He kept trying to get Phillip to hit him but Phillip just said.
"You better stay away from Natalie becuase if I hear or see you ANYWHERE near her. I will make sure you have no pulse left." with that being said he grabbed me by the waist and helped me out. When we got home Andie was already awake so we didn't talk about what happened we ate in silence and when Phillip left he kissed me and said he would be back later and not to open the door if Andie wasn't there.
"Alright stop treating me like a baby now go." I said so he could see how his mom was doing.
"Alright. I'll be by later alright" I went back inside and Andie was there ready to interrogate.
"Why was he so mad." She asked confused because she had never seen him angry before.
"We ran into Angel when were at the store."
"Oh did he fight him." I decided togive her the G rated version of what went on.
"No but they were getting ready for round two." She nodded and said.
"Why did he need to know if I was going ot work tonight?" I just said
"He gets a bit overprotective everytime he sees Angel."
"Alright well Im gonna be gone for a few weeks becuase I gotta go help my sister out she just had her baby." I looked down she wasn't going to be here anymore and this was probably the last night I ever saw her for a long time. She was thinking the same thing I was.
"Look I know this is your last two weeks here so I promise I'll try to stay as shortly as possible but I HAVE to go." I hugged her and said
"Look. She's your sister and you need to help her I'll just call Bilie Joe and tell him I need to stay an extra week or two and it'll just be me and you alright?"
"O.K" She left to go pack her bags to leave. I helped her and drove her to the airport when I got back it was dark. I saw a light on and thought it was Phillip. I went inside and called for Phillip. But he wasn't the one who came out.
"... Angel?!" He walked out of the house and walked near meI was walking backwards in shock that he got in the house.
"How did you get in?"
"I have my ways. Now we need to have a little talk. I told you not to tell anyone and whats the first thing you do you fucking whore you tell Phillip's bitch ass!!"
"I didn't think he would see you and he needs to know."
"Well then looks like your paying the price." He lunged towards me trying to strangle me but I ran he was chasing me I kept running all the ways to Phillips house. Angel was getting closer to me he was always quick. When I got there I started pounding on the door. Phillip opened it and I ran in the house he was confused.
"Whats your problem I was holding Phillips mom who was trying to comfort me. Phillip looked outside and saw why I was running He locked eyes with Angel and walked outside.
"What the fuck were you trying to do to her!"He yelled I ran outside and tried to calm him but Angel just said
"She snitched so I was trying to complete what I said I would."
"Look if you don't leave I will call the cops and tell them what happened I dont'care if there isn't phsyical proof but the neighbors did hear something they will back me up." Angel lood shocked and walked away.
"I hope I never see him again."
"You won't not with me here." Phillip said as he hugged me and we walked back inside and explained to his mom without every detail just a vague description. We went to his room and I hugged him before we fell asleep he told me
"I love you."
"Me too"
"as long as I'm around you you'll never have to be scared."
But he didn't know he wouldn't be around me for long.
