Don't Leave Me, chapter 10
~*~Natalie's POV~*~
About an hour later, we were at the airport and trying to find our gate. Tre, Rachel, Mike, and Maggie were supposed to be meeting us there.
"There it is" Billie Joe said and pointed to a big sign that read 'Gate 9'. We started walking directly towards it.
"Hey, everyone's here" I said and sat down next to Rachel.
"Yeah, what took you guys so long?" Rachel asked.
"We got here on time. You were just here early" Billie Joe said.
"Last call for flight 287! Everyone on flight 287 please report to gate 9!" A voice on the speaker rang throughout the airport.
"Yay! That's us" Maggie said and jumped up. Mike took her hand and together we all went to the door for the gate.
After going through all the security checks and everything else, we were finally able to board the plane. Me and Billie Joe sat next to eachother, then infront of us was Maggie and Mike, and then Tre and Rachel infront of them.
"Oh no, I hate to fly" I mumbled when Billie Joe sat down.
"I know you do, but don't worry. I'm right here" He said and gave me a reasuring smile and took my hand. He gave it a light squeeze.
"That makes me feel better" I said seriously and rested my head on his shoulder.
The plane took off and were finally on our way to New York City. About 2 and a half hours into the trip, I got out of my seat, and pulled Billie Joe up with me. I took his hand and lead him to the bathrooms. When no one was looking, I gently pushed him inside. I closed the door and locked it behind us. He gave me a sly smile. I started to kiss him hard. He picked me up and sat me on the counter.
"I...love...you" I said between kisses.
"I love...you too" He said back. We continued to make out in the bathroom for 20 minutes. I fixed Billie's tie and his hair, which was very disheveled, and opened the door to get out.
"Excuse me, this is an airline. Not a motel. Next time, only one person per bathroom" One of the airline hostesses said sternly. I tryed to stifle a laugh, and Billie Joe smiled. When we got back to our seats, Mike and Maggie were laughing at us.
"You guys can't wait to get to the hotel, can you?" Maggie said still laughing. I blushed.
"Nope" I said and put my head on Billie's shoulder.
*********
Finally, we were just about to get off the plane. We were finally in New York City!
"Holy shit. It's snowing!" I said as soon as I stepped off of the stairs leading out of the plane.
"Nat, it's New York. And it is December. What do you expect?" Rachel said in a 'duh!' kind of voice.
"Crap, I didn't pack a jacket. I'm so used to the weather in California" I said as i looked down at my thin Rolling Stones shirt. Billie Joe took off his leather jacket and put on my shoulders.
"No, Billie, now your going to be cold" I said and tryed to take it off and give it back to him.
"You take this one. Somehow, I knew you would forget one. So I have another one in one of my suit cases" He said and put his arm around me. I smiled.
We all got into the limo that was waiting for us. The guy driving it, brought us to our hotel. When we got there, there were tons of screaming fans lining the entrance into it.
"Shit, Tre what name did you save our resurvations under?" Mike asked him staring at all the people waving their arms and screaming.
"Oops" He said. We all turned to look at him.
"What did you save them under?" Mike asked in a stronger tone.
"Umm...Tre Cool" He said quitly.
"What were you fucking thinking?!" Billie Joe said annoyed. I put my hand on his arm.
"It's ok. It won't do us any good to yell at him. It's not a big deal. We'll just ignore them" I said soothingly. That seemed to calm him down.
"Your right. Sorry Tre. Now let's go" He said, took a deep breath, and opened the door. As soon as he stepped out of the limo, like a million flashes of light filled the cool night air. Billie Joe took my hand and helped me out of the car. He put his arm around me and we walked as fast as we could to the door, ignoring all the random questions they were shouting out.
"Billie Joe, how long will you be in The Big Apple?"
"Who is that?" One woman said pointing to me. But seriously, I would think that they would know who I was by now.
"What airline do you travel on?" That was probably the most random. But they kept asking stupid questions like those.
Finally we got into the hotel and checked in. A bellboy (or whatever you call them) took all of our suitcases up to our rooms for us. When I opened our suite door, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was really big. It had a living room type thing, and a little kitchen, and then a bedroom, and of course a bathroom.
"Woah" I said while staring at the room. I opened the bedroom door and jumped on the bed. Billie Joe followed me in. He sat down next to me.
"I'm hungry" He said.
"Yeah me too" I said and nodded in agreement.
"Do you wanna go ask the others if they want to go out to the Hard Rock?" He asked.
"Yeah! I love that place" I replied and smiled.
"Ok, I'll go ask them" He said and got up.
"Ok" Was all I said and I layed back on the bed. I heard the door close behind him.
'I better change' I thought and sat up. I searched through my suitcase for something else to wear. When I had finished changing, Billie Joe opened the door and closed it behind him.
"Ok, Mike and Maggie said that they want to come. But Tre and Rachel said that they are just going to stay here" He said.
"Alright, let's go" I said and put Billie's jacket on. He put his other one on and followed me out the door. Billie stopped infront of Mike and Maggie's room and knocked on the door.
"Mike, we'll meet you down in the lobby" He said.
"Ok" Mike's voice was muffled because of the door. We turned around and headed towards the elevator.
"I'm so glad we are here" I said and pressed one of the bottons on the wall of the elevator. I said it more to myself then to Billie Joe.
"Yeah, me too" He said and smiled. A few seconds later, we were in the lobby, waiting for Mike and Maggie. We started talking about random things when we heard the elevator door open and non other then Mike and Maggie walked out hand in hand.
"Ok, let's go" Billie Joe said and we went out into the vrigid December night air.
"Cab or walk? It's not to far away" I siad rubbing my arms up and down my arms. Billie saw that I was cold and he put his arm around me. I smiled.
"Um...let's just walk" Maggie suggested. We all agreed and started walking towards the Hard Rock Cafe. When we got there, I pulled open the door and wad immediatly greeted by a burst of nice warm air. Everyone fallowed me in and we were led to a booth on the second floor by a waitress. I slid in and sat down. Billie Joe sat next to me and across from us on the other side, Mike and Maggie sat.
"What time is your show tomorow?" I asked Mike and Billie.
"Not until 7 PM it think" Billie Joe answered and moved closer to me. Then the waitress appeared at our table.
"Good evening and welcome to the Hard Rock. Can I start you guys off with some drinks?" She said as if she had said it a million times before. Which she probably had.
******
We had just left the Hard Rock after eating. We were again wandering the streets of the city. Then I remembered something.
"Hey, do you guys wanna go to Rockafellar to skate?" I asked them.
"I'm really tired. I just want to go to the hotel. Sorry Nat" Maggie said.
"Me too. Sorry" Mike said.
"It's alright. You guys can go. I want to skate" Billie Joe smiled and put his arm around me.
"Ok, bye" They said and walked in the opposite direction.
When we got to the skating thing, there wasn't a really big line, much to our surprise. So we finally got our skates and stepped out onto the ice.
"Shit" Billie Joe mumbled trying to balance himself. I laughed at the site of him, stumbling and gropping for the fence thing around the ice.
"When was the last time you ice-skated?" I asked him and smirked. I put my arms out to help him. He gladly accepted my offer and slowly started to skate, still holding on to me.
"Well, considering that I lived in California my whole life..." He trailed off. I just smiled.
Then he started to fall. He tryed to keep himself up but that wasn't working so well. He grabbed onto the first thing he touched, which was me. So, I ended up tumbling with him to the icey ground. He fell on his ass and I fell right next to him.
"Fuck! Ouch!" Said pouting. I started laughing so hard.
"Why did you pull me down with you?" I got out, still laughing. He smiled.
"So I could do this..." He said and pulled me in for a kiss. It was a long kiss. But we got interupted by flashing lights. I pulled away.
"What the hell?" I mumbled and looked up into a paparazzi's camera lense. I wondered why the fuck they would be on the ice.
The guy continued taking his stupid pictures until me and Billie hurried off the ice. We quickly took off our skates and gave them back to the dude who gave them to us. When we were a considerable distance away from the place, Billie Joe started laughing. I did too.
"Those stupid people need to get lives" He said. I nodded.
"They are really fucking annoying. How do you live with them?" I said. He shook his head.
"I have no idea" He pulled me over to him. I put my head on his shoulder as we walked up to our suite door. I was kinda surprised that we were already there. I wasn't really paying attention I guess.
Billie Joe pulled out the key and swiped it through that door lock thingy. He pushed open the door and closed it with his foot when we were both inside. I peeled off the leather jacket I was wearing a threw it onto a chair. Billie did the same. I sat on the couch and picked up the remote that was sitting on the arm of it. Billie Joe plopped down next to me. I cuddled closer to him and he put his arm around me.
"I'll give you a piggy back ride to the bedroom" He wispered in my ear about an hour later, seeing that I was about to fall asleep. I smiled and yawned.
"Ok fine" I gave in. I slowly stood up on the couch and got onto his back. He kicked the bedroom door open and gently dropped me on the bed. I was too tired to change so I just pulled the covers up to my chin. Billie Joe took off all his clothes except for his boxers and got in the bed next to me. I moved closer to him and soon fell asleep.
