A Pair of Star Crossed Lovers, chapter 6
Juliet sat there shaking in the corner. She looked down at her hands, they were covered in blood. She had seen lots of blood in her line of work, but the fact that it belonged to her cousin made her let out another scream Juliet noticed there was a piece of paper pined to Mercutio's shirt. Crawling across the carpet on all fours Juliet ripped the paper off. Her eyes widened as she read it. There were three names, Benvolio, Mercutio and Adrienne. Both Mercutio and Benvolio's names had been crossed out leaving only Adrienne. Juliet knew right away who had killed Mercutio and she wasted no time running out of the hotel room. She had to get to Adrienne's room as quickly as possible; it might already be too late. Running up the stairs Juliet checked her watch it was already nine. When she got to Adrienne's door she immediately began pounding on it with her fists. A young boy, only about eight opened the door.
"Who are y... ", The young boy began to ask before Juliet pushed by him.
Juliet ran into the dinning area where Adrienne, Billie Joe, Tre and Mike sat.
"Adrienne!", She yelled despite the shocked looks from the four adults faces. She wasn't surprised her shirt was soaked in Mercutio's blood.
"Oh my god! Juliet! Are you alright?", Adrienne screamed running over to her sister.
"They killed Mercutio!", Juliet screamed her voice starting to become hoarse.
"Who... What?", Billie Joe asked.
"Mercutio is dead. The Capulets got him and they know you are here Adrienne!", Juliet said quickly. "You all have to leave right now."
"What are you talking about?", Mike asked standing up. "Who are you and who is Mercutio."
"Adrienne, you got to listen to me", Juliet pleaded. "If you don't all leave right now they are going to come and kill you."
Juliet looked at Adrienne with pleading eyes.
"Alright everyone, even you two", Adrienne said pointing at Tre and Mike. "WE have to leave this hotel as quickly as possible."
"What! Why? What's going on will someone please tell me!", Tre yelled.
"We'll explain on the way Tre, just listen to Adrienne and Juliet", Billie pleaded.
"Wait. Juliet... As in Juliet Montague", Mike asked his eyes wide with fear. "I am not going anywhere with her, she'll kill us all."
"Mike, please!", Adrienne yelled turning to Mike. "If the Capulets come they will kill anyone in this room including you and Tre."
"Alright", Mike said warily eyeing Juliet. "Let me go grab my stuff."
"Me too", Tre said following Mike into the bedroom.
"Where are we going to go?", Adrienne asked turning to her sister. "We can't go back home."
"Verona is the only safe place right now," Juliet said looking nervously at her watch. "But we need to hurry."
Within minutes everyone had cleared out of the room and were heading down to the garage. When they emerged into the underground parking lot Billie Joe pulled out his car keys and unlocked the car.
"What do you think your doing? ', Juliet asked grabbing the keys from Billie Joe's hands.
"Umm... Unlocking the car," He responded.
"Do you really think taking the car that the Capulets know belongs to Adrienne is really the best plan", Juliet asked looking at him as if he were stupid.
"Oh," Billie said scratching his neck. "How are we going to get out of here?"
"We'll just borrow someone else's", Juliet grinned as she walked over to a Red Hummer.
"Are you fucking serious?", Tre screamed. "Do you know how illegal that is?"
" Well when they find Mercutio's dead body in my hotel room, stealing a car is gonna seem like child play", Juliet said as she removed her gun.
Juliet pointed it at the window and fired a few shots, then reached inside and unlocked the door.
"I can't believe we're doing this", Mike laughed as he got into the car.
"Well at least someone has a sense of humor about the whole matter', Adrienne said
Sarcastically.

An hour later the five adults and two kids had left Las Vegas.
Juliet was driving while the rest, except for Billie Joe, were asleep
"Billie", Juliet whispered.
"Yeah," Billie said snapping out of the daydream he had been in.
"Look behind you slowly and tell me what car you see", Juliet whispered nervously.
Billie frowned before turning around.
"It's a black SUV", Billie Joe said. "Why did you want to know?"
"Because that same car has been behind us since we left Las Vegas", Juliet looked worried. "I think we are being followed."
Before Billie could say anything the entire car shook violently as the SUV rammed into the back bumper.
"Who are y... ", The young boy began to ask before Juliet pushed by him.
