There Goes His Minnesota Girl, chapter 3
"You cannot do that." Adie yelled.
"I think you should quit before I phone the police." I looked around. Where was Tre? Adrienne walked out the room not giving a dam.
I chased after her.
"Adrienne"
She turned around.
"Billie I love being with you and everything but its obvious we can not spend time together."
I was nearly crying. I really liked her. She seemed special. I looked into her brown eyes. I could tell she had been through rough times like me.
"But I love you." I sounded croaky because of the lump in my throat. Her eyes welled up.
"Don't Billie."
"Why not?"
"Because you will have to leave soon."
She walked away from me and I was positive I would never see her again. Tre suddenly appeared from out of someone's room. He smiled at me.
"Bye Billie." He ran after Adrienne. I went back in my room where everyone was standing, still shocked. I screamed for them all to go away. I lay on the bed thinking about her. I remembered her saying something about a prom tommorow. Which would be today. Tonight. I wondered if I should even dare in case she got angry. How could she?
My teachers decided they would let me stay and tonight they won't even know I'm gone.
I went to the room early after saying I felt sick which was a lie of course. I locked the room put on some good clothes and went to her house.
I knocked on the door. Adrienne opened it. She had been crying.
"I'm taking you to the prom. As a friend of course." I added. She looked down at what she was wearing.
"Like this?"
"Of course." I said.
It wasn't exactly prom, but it looked good. Anyway we were not going to prom.
"I feel like Cinderella." She joked.
I took her hand and we walked hand in hand to where the prom was. I took her round the back.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
I led her to a picnic bench I had decorated (with my sister's help. ) With candles.
"That's realy sweet."
I leaned forward. I was really nervous, I didn't know how the hell to kiss her. She put her hands round me and we gentley touched lips.
"Just friends." She smiled as we kissed again.
"Let's take a risk." I smirked.
We later went back to her house. No one was in.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"Well my parents are out drinking and they will not get back beetween 5 till 7 in the morning and my brother and sister won't get back till about 10 tommorow."
She smiled at me and led me to her room.
"You are so special." I whispered to her. We started making out. I wondered if it was too soon but I started to undo her shrt. She didn't he'sitate so I caried on.
She pushed me away a bit.
"Billie I've never."
"Me nither." We stopped everything.
"Do you not want to? Sorry I..." She pulled me near her.
"I'm ready." She whispered.
And well we kind of. Do I have to say the rest?
