"How much further do we have to go"? asked Joey while they were all running.
"Not much further, I met this guy around this part of the street," Mike said as he lead them to where the house was that they were been kept in. Well, it wasn't much of a house, more like a really old mansion, there were planks of wood across the windows, apart from that one that Mike escaped from, practically the whole house was dead, but inside was where they needed to get to. "Quick, through here," Mike whispered as he and the others sneaked round the back of the house, they finally reached the window. "Right, I'll go in first." Mike squeezed through the window as he did last time and quietly stumbled into the room. Billie was still in his frozen position, eyes closed. Mike hoped he wasnt too late, he promised Billie he wouldnt let him down.
The others followed in soon after, when they all saw Billie, they all froze. Jakie covered her mouth in shock while wrapping the other arm around Jakob who couldnt bare to look at Billie at all. Tre tried to comfort Joey but he pulled Tre's arm off him and walked over to Mike. "We can do this can't we? He'll come back to life, be normal again, won't he?" Tears started to well up in Joeys eyes. Mike wasn't sure if he could or not, but he couldnt bare to se Joey cry, of any of them. Mike knelt down to Joey's size and grabbed him by the shoulders lightly.
"I promise you that he will come back, I promise, ok"? Inside Mike wanted to cry so badly, right now he didnt know what to believe himself. Joey nodded and let go of Mike's hand
"You said that there was a book that they read from didnt you?"
"Yeah, I did, let's look for that first." Mike got up and him Joey and Tre started looking in the room for the book. Tre was rumaging in a box.
"Did you see what it looked like"?
"Yeah, it was a rusty sory of bronze colour, really old and dusty," Mike said as he searched near the walls for any secret place that it could be hidden, but nothing was found.
Joey walked up to a large stand which was alot taller than him, he went on tip toe and could only just see the top. "Whats on here?" Joey asked as he tried to see further but stumbled over. Mike waked over to Joey and helped him up. Mike looked over the stand and there it was! The book!
"Joey, you rock, you found it!" said Mike as he grabbed the book and walked over to Billie. The others followed. Mike opened the book and blew the dust of from inside it, which caused everyone to start coughing. "Here, lock the door." Mike handed Jakie a key which came out of the book. Jakie walked over to the door and locked it so the vampires couldnt get in. "Right, let's see what it says." Mike placed his fingers, tracing what he was reading in his mind.
REVERSING THE CURSE
First: the person who read this needs to take their own bloos and form a cross on victims head with it.
"Anyone here have anything sharp?" Mike said looking at the others.
"Well, I have the blade from a pencil sharpener, I got bored at school," Joey said as he gave the blade to Mike from his pocket. Mike placed the blade near his wrist. He didn't want to do this, but he had to for his best friend. He slit hard enough for the blood to poor out, placed it on his finger and drew the cross on Billies forehead.
Secondly: the person who feels is the victims true love needs to kiss the victim until either thier eye colour comes back or they start to kiss back.
"Well, i guess thats me then," Jakie said as she moved towards Billie and leant over him. She placed her lips on his and kissed him. Nothing changed, she carried on kissing him, but still nothing happened. they were begining to lose hope. Jakie tried one last time with a long passionate gentle kiss. Jakob looked at Billie and saw His eyes flicker, he saw a glint of green shimmer in his eyes.
"I saw it, he opened his eyes, they were green!" Jakob shouted with happiness. Everyone was relieved but then they heard someone on the other side of the door!
"Who's in there, whats going on!?" said the voice from the other side of the door.
"Shit! we need to do this, fast!" Mike whispered as he carried on reading the book.
Thirdly: pour hot water on the places where the victim was bitten.[i]
"Where are we gonna get that from?" Mike looked around the room, he saw a tap close to the door. He ran over to it and turned the hot water on. Tre passed him the glass that had Billies blood on it from the last ritual. Mike rinsed it out then put boiling hot water into it. Then came a thud from the other side of the door.
"Let us in!" Mike ran back to the others and carefully poured the hot water onto the places where Billie had been bitten. After a couple of seconds the colour of Billie's skin went back to normal instead of white. Mike looked back at the book.
"What next, there's a fourth number with nothing beside it!" Mike said getting afraid, they didnt have much time, Mike walked up and down the room trying to think of what to do, but nothing came to mind. Tre looked at the book and placed his hand on it, writing appeared on the book. "Yeah but, it could be a clue! Look, take out the capitals! H-O-S-P-I-T-A-L! Hospital, we need to take him to the hospital!" Joey said as he pointed it out to the others.
"Joey, you're a genius"! Mike said as he picked Joey up and swirled him round.
"Yeah I know, but come on, we might be too late!" Joey exclaimed as he was put down by Mike. Mike looked at the chains around Billies ankles and wrists, he pulled at them as did the others with all thier might, and they came off. Mike carried Billie through the window and with the others they ran to the hospital
