Hopes And Dreams, chapter 4
I reluctantly walked up my driveway, I turned aroung to the guys and told them to wait. I opened my door and silently walked in, closing the door behind me, I was walking down the hall to find my dad when we came out of the kitchen. He stopped and stared at me, I froze, and silently muttered "Umm, can I go to a friends house for a bit?" He looked shocked for a second, then spat
"Since when do you have friends?"
"..Since today.."
"How'd you achieve that you stupid little bitch?"
I winced, this wasnt going to be easy, or quick. "Um..I dont really know..."
He laughed, then said "Their probably using you for something...what I dont know."
"Can I go? Please!?!"
He walked up to me, stared at me long in the eyes, and slapped me.Why the fuck did I deserve that? I wanted to cry so bad, but I swore that I would never cry infront of him. He then pinned me to the wall and said "Girl, you better not be doing drugs, or having sex, or illegal shit, you hear me! And you better be back my 7:00, now go have fun with your friends you little bitch"
I nodded my head quickly, and ran for the door. I really never knew what happened to my dad, just one day, he became like this, I just hoped to god he'd come back around and be like he used to be.
Mike's POV
"Wow shes taking a LONG time to get back out here."
Billie looked at me and said "Well maybe she needs to have some sorta talk with her parents...or maybe shes feeding her fish..either one.."
I looked at him puzzled, and then Tre started giggling and said "Well she better hurry up! Remember the last time we were late! Jade and Abby beat us with spoons because they had to stand in the pouring rain for an hour."
We all started laughing at this memory, they looked like hobos! And they just glared at us all day while they sat in a corner on a black spinning chair. When we were done laughing, Lilly finally came out, i saw a big purple bruise on her cheek. Billie noticed to and said,
"Whats up with the bruise?"
She panicked and touched her face and winced.
"Uhhh, I walked into a door again, silly me"
"...Umm..ok then.."
Billie didnt look convinced, neither did I, Tre on the other hand was runnning up and down the street yelling "PANCAKES, PANCAKES, EVAN, AH!" He then runned into a pole, we all laughed at his stupidity and walked on.
Soon enough we arrived at Tre's front door, we walked in and saw two familiar heads on the couch playing 'Tony Hawk'...
Lilly's POV
When we walked in i saw two girls on the couch, Tre yelled "HI JADE! HI ABBYYYYY!" They jumped up, and they ran at Tre, knocking him to the ground, they had a big group hug on the floor, and Billie and Mike joined in. I say its a very creepy sight walking in on 5 people bear hugging. The girl who must have been Abby looked up and said "Ohhh! Jade! We have a guest!"
Jade looked up startled and said "Eggselent! A new member for our possy!!" They started giggling and ran up to me. Jade said "Why good eveing, and who may you be?" Abby stared at my with wide eyes. I replied "Well, im Lilly"
I started observing what Jade and Abby looked like. Abby had short black hair, with neon red highlights, she had a nose stud, brown eyes, and very thin eyebrows. She was dressed from head to toe in red and black, and had really cool black and red socks. And for some reason, she drew weird things on her face with eyeliner. Which today were whiskers. She looked pretty cool.
Jade had black hair with blue headlights, she had 3 peircings in each ear, and one in her nose like Abby. She had brown eyes, and big lips, she had a black tank top on, and dark blue jeans. She wore eyeliner too, just, not like Abby. She also looked pretty cool.
I thought they would be cool to hang out with, not that im saying they would even consider being friends with me, but they did say I could be in their possy...well i hope thats what they meant.
They linked arms with me and made me go with them to the couch, we sat down and it was their turn to observe me. After they were done they said 'Well, now its time for a question"
I looked over at the guys, they had smiles on their faces as they sat on the floor infront of us, and Tre tried to sit on Jade's lap, which made me laugh.
Abby began by saying "Well, what bands do you listen to?"
I looked at her and said, "Well, um, The Clash, The Ramones, Goo Goo Dools, ACDC, Ozzy, The Smashing Pumpkins, uhhh, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, which Abby drooled at at the mention of the name, Guns n Roses, Nirvana (long live Kurt), uhh"
Jade stopped me and said 'Good enough, I see you have great taste" Billie laughed, and looked her with a 'no-duh' expression, which made her punch him in the arm.
"Owww" Billie whined.
"Ohhh shut up you big baby" Jade said while laughing. Tre pointed at Billie and said really loud 'Pussy!!!" We all giggled and Abby said, "Well then moving on"
Jade jumped on the couch and announced proudly "Well, girls and hobos, it seems we have a new member of our pathetic little possy, all hail LILLY!!!" She started bowing, and so did the rest of them, including me, wow, I felt so special, somebody accepted me, this day was turning out great!
