Once he had finished, he looked up at her. Steph was in shock. That was the most romantic thing a guy had ever done for her. Her eyes started to swell with tears. She bit her lip and waited for Billie to do something. Billie placed his guitar down, and walked over to her, standing in front of her. he waited a moment. They were both still. Looking into eachothers eyes. Every moment filled with anticipation of what the other might do. Then unexpectedly Steph jumped into his arms. Billie caught her and spun her around. Steph was starting to get teary, but it didn’t matter. The most gorgeous guy in her life, had just done the most romantic act ever possible. Billie stopped spinning her and moved her hair from infront of her eyes so he could see them.
‘Did you like it?’, he asked her, with his arms still wrapped around her. He was nervous about what her answer might turn out to be.
‘Yeah, totally. It was gorgeous’, she said sweetly, pulling him in closer to her slightly. He’s eyes started to wander around her looking her up and down. Steph, noticed, and she played on. She brushed the hair from he’s eyes. Billie started to become jumpy again.
‘Listen, Steph’, he paused trying to find the right words, ‘I love you, and I’m sorry about everything that’s happened’, he paused again, looking back into her eyes. Steph felt like she was melting, with every word Billie said to her. He continued, ‘Like I was saying, I love you, your absolutely beautiful, everything about you and I promise I wont let anything like that ever happen or come between us again’.
‘No you shouldn’t’ be the one apologizing. I went completely over the top with it all’, Steph said smiling amiably and looking into his eyes. She tried to think of what to say, but nothing made sense in her mind. ‘Oh I love you too’, she said hugging him again and kissing him lightly on the cheek.
‘That’s not how its done’, Billie informed her.
‘Not how what’s done?’, Steph asked unknowingly.
Billie pushed Steph’s hair behind her ears and brought her head forward slowly. Eyes closed, they kissed their most passionate kiss yet. It felt like fireworks were going off around them, the hype was so positive.
They pulled back slowly and looked into eachothers eyes.
‘Your beautiful’, Steph whispered to him, smiling sweetly.
‘And your stunning’, Billie said.
Steph lead him around to the end of the bed and they sat down. He followed her like a puppy dog. They started giving each-other small sweet kisses again.
‘They look so cute’, said Tre, watching them from the crack in the door.
‘Yeah, perfect’, said Mike. The two boys smiled.
‘Come lets leave them alone, he still had something to do’, Tre reminded Mike. They slowly closed the door again and let their friends be alone.
Steph and Billie continued kissing, not noticing they had been watched. She ran her fingers though his hair. Billie began sitting more upright. The affection they were giving eachothers was nice. They started to become playful though. Steph put her hand in her pocket, turned off her mobile and dropped it to the floor. She searched Billie’s pockets and did the same. Nothing was going to ruin anything they got themselves into now. The making out was starting becoming heavy. Billie pushed Steph back on to the bed, and held himself above her. They continued, every moment bringing them closer to each-other. Slowly they started becoming more interested in what the other had to offer. Slowly things were becoming revealed, slowly they were having more mature fun, and also slowly they were becoming tired.
Steph started to fall asleep. She rested her head, on Billie’s chest. His shirt was off, and listened to the steady sound of his heart beating softly, which gradually put her to sleep like a baby. He placed his arm around her, so that she wouldn’t move.
He picked up the box; his mother had reminded him about, out of his pants pocket, which was on the floor. He opened it and smiled. The diamonds, shone brightly. He took it out, and placed it on Steph trying carefully not to wake her up.
‘Good night babe’, he whispered, kissing her and closing his eyes, as he started to think about what her reaction would be when she woke up in the morning.
