"Pippet just listen Mikey does it to", Billie Joe told her, she spun around and looked at him raising an eyebrow.
"Yes Billie Joe, but that's Mike not you", she told him continuing to walk to the bedroom. He let out a sigh and followed her.
"Pippet, please just wait", he asked her taking a hold of her hand. She looked up at him and waited for an answer.
"I'm sorry its just... it's been to hard to give up on it", he let out. He knew his answer was pathetic but it was all he could manage.
"And how do you think I felt, Billie Joe it hasn't just been hard for you", she told him starting to get teary, "You promised me you'd stop but instead you went behind my back and continued. How could you?". Billie paused for a moment.
"Sweetie, I'm sorry I didn't think you'd find out", he explained.
"So you were going to hide it from me?", she asked. He nodded.
"I'm sorry, I was eventually going to tell you, but...", he finished not really having anymore to say.
"But what Billie Joe? You decided it would be better to keep the truth away from me and lie to me. I'm your wife Billie, your other half you should have to kept stuff away from me like this", she told him. He closed his eyes and shook his head.
"No I'm sorry I shouldn't have done this, I shouldn't have kept it away from you, it was a mistake and I'm sorry princess", he let out in the quite mumble. She lifted his head with her finger tips and looked into his eyes wondering if her words had made an impact.
"I'm sorry Pippet I really am", he blubbered out trying to hold tears back. He knew he had hurt the girl. He had done it so many times before that he couldn't stand it. She smiled and hugged him gently before he pulled her in for what seemed like a squeeze with affection. She giggled a little before looking up at him.
"Oh how could I stay mad at you?", she asked smiling affectionately. He shook his head.
"I don't know, you've tried though before I presume?', he asked. She nodded.
"Didn't work though", she added. He looked down at her wondering if it would be a good idea to ask her again.
"So you will come with me to the reunion right?", he asked again. She smiled and linked fingers with him kissing him softly making his eyes shut.
"Of course I will, as long as you can find someone to baby sit Jared", she told him. Billie shook his head.
"No he's coming with us, it's a formal event too, so we have to dress up", he told her. She shook her head.
"Billie Joe, I just made it through the wedding. I don't think I can dress up again".
"To bad I have an outfit for you already".
"Billie Joe... ..".
"Pippet... ".
"Fine", she let out rolling her eyes.
"What it will be fun", he told her smiling, "We can dance", he said spinning her around, "And you know have fun".
Pippet looked up at him a little hesitant.
"Fine, fine", she told him, breaking away from his grip, "Good night Billie Joe".
"Night Pippet", he let out walking with her into the bedroom.
-THE REUNION-
"Billie, I don't want to go in", Pippet told him. Billie took a hold of her hand again.
"Princess", he said smiling. She didn't want to go back into that hall. It was the hall that their formal had been held in. The night where you could say Jared had been brought into the world.
"Mommy, you coming in side?", Jared asked. Pippet smiled and took his hand walking her in. The school seemed to different. Then again it had been years since the couple had come back. Billie made sure his arm was tight around Pippet's waist so that no one took the wrong idea of still thinking the 'high school loser' was single.
"You look gorgeous, have I told you that?", he asked her sweetly.
"Yeah, you have BJ", she told him hearing the line for the millionth time tonight.
"We'll I'm just making sure", he told her, "I don't wanna loose you tonight".
"You wont", she told him smiling, "You're the only one in this room who makes my heart skip beats", she told him getting cut off.
"Pippet?", a voice asked. She turned to look around. The first thought that ran through her mind was 'OMG WHY IS HE TALKING TO ME?'. Chase looked her up and down before smiling.
"Wow, you're all grown up", he said smiling.
"Well it does happen Chase", she told him.
"You and Billie still dating?", he asked her. She giggled a little and bit her lip.
"No actually we're married", she said making the whole hall turn and look at her, "And in case you were wondering this is our son Jared", she told him picking the kid up. Jared shyly smiled and waved.
"Hi", he let out with a grin just like Billie's.
"But the last news I heard was that you broke up after the concert", Chase told her. Pippet and Jared shook their heads.
"Chase, you don't believe everything do you?", she asked. He looked at her. 'There's no way they are married with a kid', he told himself.
"Well you look good tonight", he complimented her starting to flirt. Billie took note of how she was going from another conversation he was at. The last thing he wanted was something happening to his wife.
"Thanks Chase", she said nervously, starting to be surrounded by other men.
"I remember you on the formal night", another man said.
"Wow you sure have filled out since then", another said. Pippet started worrying and slowly tried to back away from them. Billie noticed his wife's hesitance and walked over.
"Honey is everything alright?", he asked her. She nodded and brought his head down to her so that she could kiss him. The men standing around her took it as a hint to back off and did so.
"Thankyou", she whispered quietly seeing Jared run to their side.
"Mommy are you okay?", he asked in a sweet tone of voice, "Did someone hurt you mommy?".
"No Jared I'm fine, I promise", she told him. Billie held her close as Jared hugged his fathers leg.
"I don't want anyone getting hurt tonight", he told them, "Not you, or Jared or the unborn or me", he told them. Pippet closed her eyes seeing Katty and Mike arrive. At least now she knew for certain that no one would approach her. Mike was still the same as he was back in high school.
"Mommy looks its uncle Mikey", Jared squealed letting the whole hall hear. He ran up to his uncle and jumped up being caught by Mike.
"Hey little one", Katty said smiling. Jared leant over and kissed her cheek before settling into his uncles arms.
"Listen Pippet I'm going out of a talk with the guy's you'll be alright to stay here right?", he asked her not sure if it was safe to leave her alone.
"Billie Joe I'm fine, you go have fun", she said smiling. He kissed her again telling her that he loved her and then walked out with some friends only to see someone who he really didn't want to come into contact with... Nina...
"Pippet, wow you look good", Justin told her, not coming over to her when Chase was here. She smiled knowing and remembering how sweet Justin was at school.
"Thanks gorgeous", she replied fixing her hair.
"Wanna talk outside?", he asked. She smiled and nodded biting her lip as he led her outside to something she was no expecting to see. Billie Joe locking lips with Nina. After this long surely they must have gotten over each other. Billie broke the kiss knowing and feeling that someone was watching.
"Pippet...I...I'm...", he let out. She shook her head.
"Some days I really hate the way I love you Billie Joe", she told him before storming back inside the hall... ..
