A Trip Gone Wrong, chapter 2
1 hour later and the Green Day guys were sitting their plane to Glasgow airport. Billie Joe was staring out of the window, feeling kind of sad, knowing that Joey and Jacob would be out in the back yard, arguing over baseball or something and Adrienne would probably be making their dinner as she would every night until he came back from this tour. He loved touring with the guys, but missed his family a lot. These thoughts were soon interrupted though by Mike's snores.
"Could he snore any louder?" Complained Tré from his seat.
"Just watch the TV then, you do have one since its first class." Replied Billie.
"D'ya always have to put a downer on my complaints? Its fun complaining. Mr. No Fun." Tré mock-pouted.
"Ah, you know I don't mean it my ickle Tréikins." Billie gushed from his seat.
"Oh Billie Joe, how kind that is of you to say." Replied Tré, attempting to curtsey, which isn't easy if your seat belted into an aeroplane chair. Billie just laughed and went back to his thinking.

"Mike likes socks... " Mike mumbled in his sleep.
Attempting to keep a straight face, Billie replied quietly to Mike
"Yeah? Billie likes socks too." He said, with a huge grin on his face.
"Especially ones with stripes." Tré added, through a mouthful of aeroplane food.
"Hmmmmm stripes... " mumbled Mike again, turning his head away from them.
Tré and Billie couldn't keep a straight face after that, and burst into hysterical laughter, which obviously woke Mike up.
"What did I miss?" He asked, frowning at their laughter.
"Oh nothing, my darling Mikekins, nothing." Said Tré through his giggles. "By the way Mike, what's your favourite kind of sock? Stripy ones?" He asked, sniggering.
"Ok, what's going on here you two? How did you know about my socks dream? I know I mumble in my sleep but no one can usually hear what I'm saying... " He trailed off, blushing.
"Well we did manage to hear. Us and the rest of the passengers!" Laughed Billie.
Mike blushed more, but was suddenly saved by the woman with the snack trolley appeared.
"Hi. Would you like anything to eat or drink?" Smiled the girl.
"Yes please, 3 coffee's and some cookies. Thanks." Said Tré, handing over some coins.
"Thank you." She walked off, after handing the guys their food.

7 hours later, the guys arrived at Glasgow airport, tired and hungry. Once they had collected their bags which had been put onto their flight, so that their bags weren't somewhere in Hong Kong without the guys to collect them and changed their dollars to pounds, they got into a taxi outside the airport terminal and asked the driver to take them to the nearest respectable hotel.
Once they arrived, they went up to their room, and flopped down on the bed. All of them were asleep within 5 minutes.
Mike woke up first, around 2 hours later, walking into the room's en-suite bathroom. He took a shower, got dried and dressed and then used some of Tré's hair gel, since he was the only one smart enough to have packed any. Just when he was screwing the cap back onto the tub of gel, Tré woke up.
"MY HAIR GEL!!!!! Did you have to use it?!" Tré shouted, all mock angry.
"Erm, yes." Mike said, raising one eyebrow
"Fine." Tré pouted.
Just at that minute, Billie Joe woke up.
"Hey what's all the noise about?" He said, throwing a pillow at Mike and Tré who were throwing each other dirty looks and acting like their own children.
"PILLOW FIGHT!" Screamed Tré, and they all broke into a huge pillow fight, ending with them all collapsing on the beds laughing like little kids.
"So are we gonna go out to buy some more clothes then?" Asked Tré, impatiently tapping his foot on the floor, after they had all regained their breath.
"Erm, Tré? Our suitcases got put on our flight, remember? There not floating about in Hong Kong airport or something, the people at the airport managed to put them on our plane." Said, Billie, looking slightly confused.
"I know, but I want more clothes." Said Tré, smiling.
"You really should have been born as a woman." Remarked Mike, from his place on one of the beds.
"Probably. But who cares?" Replied Tré, pulling on his shoes. "Come on guys, shopping spree. And then lets go get food. I'm hungry."
Reluctantly, Billie and Mike left their comfortable positions on the beds to put on their jackets and go shopping with Tré.
***
"Yeah, I want this!" Tré called over the shelves stacked with CD's to Billie Joe and Mike and anyone else in the shop who happened to be listening.
"Well buy it then, Einstein." Replied Mike, not looking up from the copy of Kerrang! that he was currently thumbing through.
"Why don't they sell this over in America?" Mike questioned Billie, who was standing beside him, looking in disgust at the array of Mariah Kerry, Britney Spears and other pop/R 'n' B stars on the pop section of Virgin Mega stores.
"I really have no idea. If they did, the company sure would make a lot of money." Billie replied, still throwing the pop CD's dirty looks.
While this conversation was going on between Mike and Billie, Tré thought it would be funny to go up to the till and buy Insomniac to see if the guy behind the till recognised him.
"Do you like Green Day?" Tré asked as he handed over the CD and a £10 note.
"Of course, there my favourite band." Replied the guy behind the till.
"Cool me too... Jim." Said Tré after peering at the guys nametag.
After Jim had handed Tré his receipt, he burst into laughter, and surprisingly in between his giggles he managed to ask
"You have no idea who I am do you? I'm Tré Cool. Of Green Day!"
"No your not!" Said Jim sarkilly "Green Day are my favourite band, I think I'f know if Tré Cool walked up to my till. SECURITY!" He hollered, and soon two tall men appeared by Tré's side.
"Take this man out of the store." Said Jim, rolling his eyes. The 2 security guards nodded, and soon Tré found himself sitting on the pavement outside.
Mike and Billie had seen the whole thing from the music magazine rack, and were soon outside standing next to Tré, laughing their heads off at what had just happened.
"Don't laugh!" Tré pouted. "I thought he would know who I was."
"Well he obviously didn't, or you wouldn't be out here on the sidewalk!" Stated Billie, holding out a hand and helping Tré up.
"Lets go get some food guys." Said Mike, still laughing at what had just happened.
The guys were just walking towards a café that they had spotted when all of a sudden they heard people shout
"Oh my god!!! It's Billie Joe!!!!"
Billie turned around to see about 6 or 7 girls running straight at him, surprisingly fast in their high heels.
'Why is it always me they chase after?!' He thought angrily. 'Why is it never Tré or Mike?!'
"Run!" Said Mike, and they all started running towards the café. But it was no use. A few seconds later, Billie tripped, stumbled and was then ambushed by a load of screaming teenyboppers, who all crowded round him, and they smelt strangely like vanilla. They were shouting stuff all at once at him, and he couldn't really make out what they were saying, but he did catch one of the girls saying
"I LOVE YOU!!!"
Try as he might, he couldn't get away from them, and proceeded to sign the bits of paper they were holding out for him, and then walking away quickly before the had a chance to ask him to do anything else, like sign their thighs or something equally as weird and teenyish.
Once he got to the café he realised Mike and Tré had already gone inside, so he walked in, spotted them sitting at a table in the corner and sat down with them.
"So Bill, how were the teenies?" Said Mike, grinning from ear to ear.
"Just fine thanks. How come they always chase after me? Why is it never you or Tré?" Billie questioned.
"Because, my ickle Billiekins, you happen to be the lead singer of the band." Tré said very slowly as if he was speaking to a 2-year-old. "And teenyboppers always chase after the lead singer. But they normally only chase after a famous lead singer if he's good looking, so god knows why they were chasing you Billie." Said Tré, with a very serious face on, which got Mike laughing. It also earned Tré a punch on the arm from Billie.
"Could he snore any louder?" Complained Tré from his seat.
"Just watch the TV then, you do have one since its first class." Replied Billie.
