The One I Want, chapter 23
"Billie Joe what the hell was that?" asked Bailey as Billie Joe entered the house again. Billie Joe just stood there.
"Hold on," said Billie Joe walking out side of the house.
"SARA!" yelled Billie Joe. Sara turned around and looked at Billie Joe then started running. "I NEED TO TALK TO YOU!" yelled Billie Joe.
"NO!" yelled Sara back running faster. Billie Joe sighed then started running after her. Sara looked back to see Billie Joe not far behind running after her. "WHAT THE HELL?" screamed Sara, running faster.
"SARA I NEED TO TALK TO YOU! PLEASE!" yelled Billie not far behind her.
"YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT BEFORE YOU SHUT THE DOOR IN MY FACE!" yelled Sara.
"I'm sorry! Oh k I'm sorry!" said Billie Joe stopping. Sara stopped running to. The two of them stood there looking at each other.
"Look I'm sorry. I'm sorry for pulling you in and then out. I'm just scared. I have known for practically all my life. I don't want to fuck things up. I really don't," said Sara walk to Billie Joe. Billie gave her a small smile. "It's Scott. He told me something," said Sara and a silent tear fell down her check.
"Wha? What did he tell you?" asked Billie Joe putting his hands on her shoulders.
"He...he is gay," said Sara as more tears fell down his check.
"What?" asked Billie shocked.
"He has been gay for a while but he thought if he moved somewhere new, it would be different," said Sara trying to stop crying. Billie Joe started laughing. Laughing really hard, then he wiped off Sara's tears. Sara looked up angrily at Billie Joe. Billie Joe gave a chuckle then pulled in Sara for a hug.
"I never liked him," laughed Billie Joe. Sara gave a small laugh. "Look Sara, I love you. And I can't help it. I might have seemed mad at you. But I was just hurt. I love you Sara," said Billie Joe, staring deeply in Sara dark brown eyes.
"I love you too Billie Joe," said Sara. Then she gave Billie Joe a kiss. Billie and Sara stood there in front of the yard. Sara pulled away. Then the two of them walked hand to hand to Billie's house.
After that night Billie Joe and Sara, where very close, they went on a few dates then by the end of month the consider they a couple.
**3 months**
"Oh God I can't believe the day is finally here," said Billie Joe looking out the window.
"Relax man, maybe after your mom and Ralph get married get married he'll be come like a dad," said Mike sitting on Billie Joe's bed.
"Mike. My mom and Ralph are getting married tomorrow. I'll have a new dad. I DONT WANT A NEW DAD!" said Billie Joe almost yelling.
"I know how it feels, after my parents got a divorce my mom got re-married to some guy, which I did not like back then. But now we're cool" said Mike now looking through Billie Joe's collection of CDS.
"You don't know. We won't EVER be cool with each other," said Billie Joe angrily.
"It's oh k man, me and Tre and Sara will always be here for you, well I got to go," said Mike opening the door.
"Oh k later man" said Billie Joe looking out the window. Mike sighed then left his best friend's house. "Where's my mom?" said Billie Joe coming down the stairs.
"She eating dinner with her friends," said Ralph watching TV while eating his TV dinner.
"Great I'm stuck with you then," said Billie Joe digging threw the fridge looking for something to eat.
"What did you say young man?" yelled Ralph.
"Nothing," replied Billie Joe as he pulled out the jam. Billie Joe made him self a PB&J sandwich with a glass of milk. Billie sat the table and pulled out the guitar magazine he bought the store. Suddenly there was something in the light. He looked up and saw Ralph standing there. "What? Can I help you with something? asked Billie Joe rudely.
"Tomorrow you going to be my son," said Ralph still standing in the way of Billie Joe's light.
"Ha-ha...no you won't," said Billie Joe taking a bite out of his sandwich.
"I don't like your attuide!" said Ralph with more rage.
"And I don't give a fuck," said Billie Joe reading his magazine.
"Now listen to me you little punk!" yelled Ralph picking Billie Joe by the shirt.
"No, fuck you!" yelled Billie as he pulled away from Ralph.
"You little shit get your skinny ass over here," yelled Ralph. Billie Joe climbed over the table and ran towards the door. The next thing Billie Joe felt a sharp sting in his arm and heard a glass breaking. Ralph threw a glass at the wall and the piece of glass went flying and some hit Billie Joe's arm.
"You fucktard!" yelled Billie holding his arm. Ralph ran to Billie and hit him. Billie went flying to the floor. Then Ralph kicked Billie in the stomach. "SHIT!" yelled Billie and he curled in to a ball.
"Yeah that teaches you to talk back to your old man!" yelled Ralph kicking him again.
"You're...not...my dad" said Billie Joe, breathless.
"WILL BE SOON" yelled Ralph. Billie glanced at Ralph then slowly tried to get up, but Ralph pushed him down. Billie tryed again but Ralph kicked him to the door. This time Billie coughed up blood. Then all of a sudden Ralph laughing stopped. "Shit," said Ralph "GO CLEAN UP NOW!" yelled Ralph picking up Billie Joe roughly. "AND IF YOUR MOM ASKS YOU WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU...YOU...GOT IN A FIGHT! GOT IT KID?!" yelled Ralph throwing Billie to the stairs.
"NO I'M TELLING THE TRUTH, YOU SICK BASTARD!" yelled Billie. Ralph smacked Billie Joe across the face making Billie Joe's nose bleed.
"WHAT HAPPENED?" yelled Ralph.
"I got in a fight!" cried Billie Joe.
"Good now go clean up!" yelled Ralph. Billie Joe slowly got up climbed the stairs. While Ralph got a broom and cleaned the broken pieces of glass. Billie Joe went in the bathroom to clean up. He looked horrible. He has blood dripping from his nose, his arm was bleeding. As bad as it looked, was painful too. While Billie Joe cleaned up he heard his mom coming in.
"Hey, what happened?" asked Ollie as she saw the broken pieces of glass.
"Billie had a fit so of course...he took his anger with a glass," said Ralph.
That shit! He threw his glass at me! This was it. Billie Joe picked up a glass frog sitting next to the sink. Billie picked up the glass and threw it at the moor. Then he walked out of the bathroom. Ollie and Ralph came running up stairs.
"Billie Joe Armstrong! What the hell did you do?" yelled Ollie looking at the broken moor. Billie kept on walking to his room. "BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!" yelled Ollie as loud as she could. Billie Joe turned around to face his mother and Ralph.
"I CANT BELIEVE YOU'RE GONNA MARRY THIS ASSWIPE!!!" yelled Billie Joe pointing at Ralph.
"BILLIE JOE, THAT IS NO WAY TO TALK TO RALPH LIKE THAT!" yelled Ollie.
"Psh...what ever. I'm going to bed. After all tomorrow is a big day!" said Billie Joe walking to his room.
"BILLIE JOE!" yelled Ollie. Billie Joe slammed the door in his mother face. Billie Joe went to his face laid face down and cried...
"Hold on," said Billie Joe walking out side of the house.
"SARA!" yelled Billie Joe. Sara turned around and looked at Billie Joe then started running. "I NEED TO TALK TO YOU!" yelled Billie Joe.
"NO!" yelled Sara back running faster. Billie Joe sighed then started running after her. Sara looked back to see Billie Joe not far behind running after her. "WHAT THE HELL?" screamed Sara, running faster.
