A Dream Come True, chapter 15
Back in the room, I was fiddling around with the cd case. They had signed it, never thought I would actually meet them though...A nurse came in the room, "What would you like to drink?" I swear, they make it like room service, "Uh...DP?" I asked, "I'm sorry?" she asked, "Dr Pepper," I said, smiling. She smiled back and nodded, then left the room. I returned my glance towards the cd, then a memory flooded into my mind...
*Flashback*
I walked outside at 8:17 or so, not really caring that I was late and that Caroline my want to walk with me. All I had with me this time was my bookbag and my flute. Left my book in that asshole of a teacher's classroom. I was off my drive way by now and on the curb, as usual. I heard footsteps behind me. Then she was next to me. I tired to walk off, but she wouldn't give up. "You know, there's no point in walking together if we're not going to talk," Caroline had said. "Don't seem to remember you trying," I said, refusing to look at her. "Why don't you come to Youth Group anymore," She asked. "When have you asked?" I asked her. We both stopped. She stared at me, I at the ground. "What's you problem?" She had asked. "You wanna know my problem? You really wanna know my problem?" She nodded. I sighed," My problem, is you. You spread lies about me to Emily about your stupid little camp when I only swore three times, not however many you said. Oh, and your little friend, Kevin? The only way he knows every little damn aspect of you life is because all you ever wanna talk about is yourself. So, why not you just leave me the hell alone and stop bragging about getting braces. Not a really good thing to brag about," I said and stormed off.
*End of flashback*
I started to cry. Why the hell did my life have to be so messed up? Then another memory.
*Flashback*
Back when me and Caroline where friends, I had big dreams, still do though. I was starting a band with Kamara and Caroline wasn't too sure if she wanted to join or not. Then we got on the subject, that if we were ever to play in the halftime show, she would be there, watching us. I told her that I would give her a shoutout and she said I would probably have already forgotten her.
*End of flashback*
"Your burned in my fucking mind now..." I whispered to myself. I suddenly lifted my head up,"I never did get that book back from her classroom..." I looked back down at the cd case, noticng a few cracks in it, "Damn..." I said. I sighed it put it down and laid down against the pillow. Didn't really need to be here anyways...I sat back up and got out of bed. I ran over to the phone in the room and picked it up. I dialed the home phone number. Three rings, Mom answers, "Hello?" I heard her on the other line, "Hey, "I said and smiled a bit. "Chelsea?!?" she practicaly screamed in my ear, "Yeah...do you have to do that?" I asked her. Someone knocked on the door. I turned to see who it was. He came in. He was all dressed in black. "Holy crap..." I said, staring at him, keeping in mind that my mother was still on the phone.
