Mike did it!, chapter 3
The crowd was roaring and the speakers were vibrating the whole stage from the sound of the music. People in front of the stage were having a huge mosh pit and they were throwing mud everywhere. It was great.
Tre was jumping up and down from excitment. Billie Joe was smoking in the corner actually looking kind of anxious. Mike was still plucking his bass just to make sure everythign went smoothly during the performance. Emily was looking into the crowd with stary eyes. 'That's what I want to be like...' She thought to herself. 'Not this quiet person.'
This was Green Day's first ever big offical show. In front of thousand's of mud stained, mosh-pitting people that were here for good music. The band on stage just finished and the crowd, for its size, didn't clap that hard. Mike swallowed hard and wished that wouldn't happen to them.
"And now ladies and gentlemen!" called the announcer. "This is a new band in their first ever big concert." The crowd's eyes grew wide with excitment. "Please give a warm round of applause for Green Day!" The crowd cheered in curiosity of what the new band would sound like.
Billie Joe ran onto the stage with a huge smile on his face. Mike followed Billie and by his facial expression you could tell that he was exstatic. Tre skipped to his drum set while Billie Joe was ready to start the first few chords of 'Welcome to Parsdise'. As soon as the first lyrics were sung, the crowd was as crazy as ever.
By the end of their performance the got the loudest applause any band had played before them. Someone threw a big piece of mud onto the stage and Billie Joe threw it back into the crowd. The crowd threw some more mud and Mike and Tre started to throw mud as well. Soon is was a huge mud fight.
Billie even caught a piece and shoved it in his mouth. The crowd went bonkers. Soon, though, fans were jumping on the stage and security had to take charge. They were tackling people who were on the stage and were showing no mercy.
One of the security guards mistook Mike Dirnt as a crazed fan and tackled him. Mike came plowing down onto one of the amps with a thud. Other securtity guards started to take Tre and Billie Joe behind the stage becaues it was getting out of hand. Emily gaped when she saw her brother's mouth bleeding and was missing some of his teeth. "Wow..." said Tre while he was spacing out. "THAT was the fucking best show EVER!" He threw his hands up and followed Mike, Emily and Billie Joe going to the hospital.
