Life is going to get better now Tori, chapter 1
Tori sat in her room with her bloodshot eyes full of tears. It had happened again. She hated this life, why did it had to be HER that had the crappiest life on earth? She loved her mom,but her stephdad...oh her steph dad..it seems like he loved to hurt her, like he had pleasure of hurting her body - and soul, hitting her and doing the horriblest of things.
-And the raping..she could not take this anymore she tought, watching her big black and purple bruises on her arms.
Suddenly she snapped out of her thinking as her cell started to ring. -"Hello?" she said "Hi!" the voice of her best friend was on the other end, "what has happened to you? it's your stephdad isn't it?"
"Uhm, yeah.." Tori said feeling the tears pressing up on her eyes again.
"Do you wanna come over?" Her best friend, Angie said. "Yeah I'd love to." "ok i'll see you in five ok?" Angie said "Yeah..in five" and with that, she hung up and looked in the mirror. She looked like shit, yeah..really bad she tought while she put on some eyeliner too look a little bit better. She took her sleeves over her arms to cover the bruises and climbed out the window, down the little apple tree and runned over the streets to Angies house.
-"Knock knock." Tori was soaking wet of the rain that had been splashing down.
"Come in!" Angies voice called from the house. Tori got in to the warmth of her house and she felt a little better, knowing she was away from her stephdad. "Hi hun!" Angies mom, Carolina Peterson said. "aw you are soaked up wet! just stand right there and i will go get you some of Angies dry clothes!" Oh, Mrs Peterson was really caring and she was so nice. Tori really felt like home here. "Hi Tori! are you allright?" Angie said running down the stairs to the living room where Tori was standing. "I feel a lot better when i am here" Tori said with a little smile. Now mrs Peterson came down the stairs with some warm and dry clothes for Tori. "You just go change on the bathroom while i'll be on the kitchen making us some hot chocolate! u sure look like you need that!" Angie said " Aw thanks Ange" Tori said, and then she went up and changed. She took of her soaking wet sweater and looked at her arms that were allmost black and purple all over. You could see her stephdad's handmarks over her arms. She sighed and took on Angies dry sweater and changed her jeans to a pair of new comfy ones. She walked down the stairs and sat down in the kitchen with Angie. she handed Tori a nice cup of hot chocolate and they started talking. "I'm sorry to bring this up Tori, but how bad did he hurt you this time?" Angie said. "Well..." Tori said with a big lump in her throat, "He hit me you know, but he didn't go so far that he got to..rape me..you know.." she said taking up her sleeves showing her bruises to Angie.
"Oh God. What a bastard" Angie said looking in shock at Tori's bruises. Tori took her sleeves over her arms again. " But let's forget this, OK?" She said. " Now we are gonna talk about our favorite subject right?"( Of course it was Green Day, what do you think? Cows? ) "Yeah! I have got great news about that," Angie said " I have 2 tickets to their concert in three days at the home depot center in carson!" (They live in California) "Oh my GOD!" Tori said "Who are you going to take with you?" " Your of course Stupid!" She said while letting out a little giggle. " Aww Thanks! I'm soo happy to have you as a friend Ange!" Tori said giving Angie a big hug.
