My Life With Green Day, chapter 6

Billie's head popped around the door, grabbed the towel, and slammed the door in my face.

"Thanks Billie," I said sarcastically.

"Naughty naughty. What did you think you would see?" I thought long and hard before answering.

"I don't know." I could hear him laugh.

"Well your welcome by the way," he said as he answered my sarcastic 'Thank you. '

"Well I'm out front with the whores," I called. I walked out front. At least they were done making out.

"I'm bored let's go do something," whined Brittany. She sat on Mike's lap and was twirling her hair. Yeah my friend is a Barbie doll sometimes.

"LET'S GO TO A FUCKING CLUB," Tre yelled as he grabbed the van keys.

"We have to wait for Billie," I told Tre as I took the van keys from him.

"Fine," Tre grunted in a grumpy tone. Billie came out of the bathroom. He looked like he was ready to party.

"Let's go," Mike said as he grabbed as he grabbed the van keys from me. I rolled my eyes as I followed them out the door. Mike was driving, Brittany was in the passenger's seat, Tre and Maggie sat in the middle, and Billie and I sat in back. I looked up at him. He smiled and handed me a box. I opened it and in it were three slinky black dresses. One for Maggie, Brittany and me. I threw my arms around him and smiled a cheeky smile. I said nothing because I wanted to surprise Brittany and Maggie. Billie put his arm around my waist. I looked up and smiled. I felt so secure with him around. After about 20 minutes we finally got to the club. I showed Brittany and Maggie the dresses.

"Billie got them for us." I smiled back at Billie. He smiled back at me.

"No way," They cried in unison. I just nodded. They both ran up and kissed Billie. I cringed but just slightly. I slowly walked to the bathroom, leaving the five of them behind. I started to change as hot tears rolled down my face. 'Why would my best friends do that, ' I said as I checked myself out in the mirror in my little black dress. My phone rang and I quickly answered it.

"Hello," I said as I wiped tears of my face. I was walking out the door and I saw Billie with his back to me.

"Where the fuck did you go," Billie yelled into his phone. I hung up and tapped him on his shoulder. He turned around. Without thinking at all I leaned in and kissed him. I was in heaven for about three seconds before I realized what I had done. I pulled away quickly.

"Billie, I'm so sorry. Really I am," I said. I was so embarrassed that I turned to leave but Billie grabbed my hand and swung me around.

"Its okay," he said quietly as he kissed me. It was a picture perfect moment. Then Tre came over. I looked over at the bar. Mike, Maggie, and Brittany were already drunk and amazingly Tre wasn't.

"Let's go fucking dance," Tre said loudly. I pulled away from Billie.

He smiled and said, "Maybe later we'll finally get to be alone." I winked back at him and walked away seductively, following Tre on to the dance floor. I waved for Billie to come and join us. He took his time making his way through the dance floor. When Tre pulled me closer to him, Billie ran the rest of the way to us and tried to separate us a little bit.

"God Billie calm down. We are just dancing," Tre said as he held me tighter. I looked up at Billie. He looked angry, but worse. His eyes were raging and looked like he was about ready to strangle Tre. I pulled away from Tre and with some difficulty pushed Billie away from Tre. I turned back to Tre and whispered in his ear. His eyes seemed to grow brighter and brighter. I stopped talking and shook my head. Tre smiled, kissed me, looked at Billie, and ran to the bar. I walked back to Billie.

"What was that all about," I asked him. We started dancing.

"What was what all about," he looked confused.

"The whole 'I'm going to fuckin kill you if you don't move' look," I said. I looked up. He still looked confused. "The look you just gave Tre." He didn't say anything but he had this goofy grin on his face.

"I don't trust Tre when it comes to handling my female friends." I smiled but then I thought 'Why doesn't he trust Tre with his female friends? '

"Well what did you tell him that made him risk his life," Billie asked me.

"I told him I'd buy him as much beer as he wants if he left us alone. But I don't see how he put his life in danger." I looked up at him and studied his expression. A funny kind of look. He burst out laughing. I had the confused look now.

"He put his life in danger by kissing you in front of me." I know my face had to have had turn about the color of a tomato. I was so embarrassed but flattered. I once again looked at the bar. Mike, Brittany and Maggie where totally passed out. Tre was surrounded by about 10 beer bottles. I sighed. I didn't know Mike and Tre all that well but I knew Maggie and Brittany didn't know their alcohol limits. I looked up at Billie and gestured over to the bar. I sighed because once again I had to break away from Billie.

"Billie we have to go. They are passed out at the bar and Tre is pretty damn drunk." Billie looked as disappointed as I felt. We walked over to the bar and with a struggle I pulled the beer bottle from Tre's hand.

"Okay we're going to have to carry, or in my case drag, their dunk asses to the van," I told Billie and Tre. I grabbed Maggie, Billie grabbed Mike, and Tre grabbed Brittany and a beer bottle. I rolled my eyes as we walked out of the club. As we crossed the parking lot, drunken Tre dropped Brittany. He was out now too. I put Maggie back behind the passenger's seat. I carried Tre, well more of dragged, and put him next to Maggie behind the driver's seat. Billie put Mike and Brittany in the very back. I got in the passenger's seat and Billie stepped in through the driver's door and sat down. He took a look back at our friends. He stretched and yawned then he started up the car.

"I'll drive if you're too tired," I offered. He looked at me. I must have looked tired too.

"No. It's ok. I'll be fine." I laid my chair back just enough for me to get comfortable. I closed my eyes. Billie's hand then flew through the air and landed on top of my head.

"What was that for," I asked as I rubbed my head.

"I don't know. You were falling asleep." He smiled like he just made a great joke. I just smiled. I didn't want to fall asleep, so I didn't really mind. I sat the seat back up and just sat in silence during most of the ride home.
