Because of You, chapter 4
I woke up to Billie Joe gently shaking me. I opened my eyes and my head was on his chest. I quickly sat up and my face went red.
We all got out of the van and walked towards our door. Turning the key in the lock I looked at Billie. We stepped inside the door. "Do you wanna, yah know, stay here till the concert?" I looked down at my feet waiting for an answer. "sure!"
Billie was grinning. He took off his shoes and watched as the others ran upstairs.
Motioning for him to follow, I walked upstairs to my room. "I'll get an air matress and I'll sleep on that. You can sleep on the bed." I was almost out of the room when he stopped me.
"Is there too much harm against you're boyfriend if we sleep in the same bed?"
My whole face turned beat read. "I.. Don't have a.. Boyfriend."
"Oh.." Billie sounded really shocked. I walked over and lied down on the bed. He came after me and lied down beside me. I turned my head so I was looking at him. "What were you going to tell me?"
He looked over and me and turned red in the face. "uhh, never mind, its nothing."
I sat up slightly and looked at him. "Tell me."
"Uhh.. Ok. Uhmm, I uhh, want to get to know you better."
Not completely satisfied with his answer I put my head back down on my pillow. It seemed like 5 minutes when I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in"
Mike and Tre' enterd the room. I looked over at my clock it read 11:00pm. "holy sh.." I mumbled to myself. "yeah? Do yah need something? It's 11:00..."
They both shrugged and started to walk out the door. Billie picked up a pillow and threw it at them and it hit Tre' in the head. They started running out the door laughing. "What was that all about?"
"Oh, their just being their normal selves. They wanted to see what were doing. You know, if we were having sex or something."
"Pervs.."
"Haha, yeah" Billie rolled over on his side for about five minutes. He edged closer to me. He wrapped his arms around me. For once in my life I felt safe. He kissed me on my head. We layed there for about 20 minutes and then I couldn't keep awake. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
*Billie's POV*
(thinking to myself)
"Holy crap she didn't even care when I kissed her or wrapped my arms around her!" She was sleeping so soundly. She rested her head on my chest and I just smiled. I lied there for 15 minutes, just watching her sleep.
"Oh why does she have to be so beautiful! I wish I could just tell her how I felt about her! But then I might ruin our friend ship. I guess I might have to wait till I find out how much she likes me. I'll ask Mike for advice then I guess." Squeezing her tight I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
I heard whispering in the same room me and Danielle were in. It sounded like Mike and Tre' talking and laughing. I felt my arms wrapped around Danielle and her head on my chest.
I guess Tre' couldn't hold it in cause he blurted something out that made me site straight up in bed.
"AWW LOOK AT THEM CUDDLE!" I glared at Tre'. He was laughing his head off. "Shutup!" I said throwing a pillow at him once again.
Danielle opend her eyes and she noticed her head was on my chest and my arms were around her. She blushed but closed her eyes again pretending to still be sleeping. I slowly crept out of bed to go along with it. I pulled Mike off to the side so I could talk to him.
"Mike can I talk to you?"
"Yeah sure. Why?"
*Danielle's POV*
I opened my eyes a bit and strained to hear what Billie and Mike were talking about. But they kept on glancing back at me to make sure that I was sleeping so I fully closed my eyes.
".. I'm in love with Danielle, what should I do?"
"Well tell her how you feel about her."
"Well we just met and I don't want it to be so sudden"
"Wait a bit then. Or I can talk to her for you..?"
"No thats alright. Thanks though."
"Billie, likeing me?" I thought. I smiled thinking of us together.
"Deciding to take the weight off of his shoulders I'll tell him instead that I like him!" I whispered to myself when they left the room. I climbed out of bed and tiptoed over to the door and walked out of my room.
"Billie?" I called.
"Yeah?" He turned and looked at me. I pulled him off to the side.
"I uhmm, need to tell you something."
"Sure, you can tell me anything.. What is it."
