"Billie this is getting ridicules and I'm sick of it!" said Adrienne picking up an empty vodka bottle and 5 beer cans that were hidden behind the garbage.
"What?" said Billie Joe playing stupid.
"You've been drinking a lot lately and have been acting weird lately, and haven't been home." said Adrienne.
"Adie I'm stressed were trying to come out with another album. We haven't released one since Nimrod." said Billie Joe still sounding half in the bag.
"Ya you go off to the bar and get wasted and come home and get more wasted. Joey and Jakob really like to see that their dad come home drunk or half drunk almost every night" said Adrienne getting angry.
"You have no idea what it's fucking like! Me I write the songs and everyone's saying 'Billie have you written anything yet?' or 'Billie Joe we need to start on the album', and then lately you've been on my ass about everything between not being here with Joey, Jakob, and you ,and fucking drinking all the time!" said Billie Joe getting really loud and angry.
"Billie keep it down. I finally got Jakob asleep, and Joey's right down the hall!" said Adrienne getting upset herself.
"Well get off my ass then!" said Billie Joe.
"Drinking isn't going to solve any of your problems. Mark my words one day your going to get a DUI or something, and I am not going to have any sympathy for you at all!" said Adrienne.
"Thanks for the support!" said Billie Joe sarcastically.
"I've asked you nicely to take it down a notch for me and the boys. I understand your stressed, but I'm getting sick of it. It seems that it's more important then your own family lately!" said Adrienne.
"Will you get off my ass already?! All you've done is bitch at me for the past month or so! Like I said you just get it. I'm pulling a lot of weight." said Billie Joe.
"Will you keep it down once again. It took forever for me to get Jakob asleep!" said Adrienne.
"No I won't! I don't care!" said Billie Joe grabbing his Jacket off the coat rack.
"This is fucking insanity." Billie Joe mumbled to himself.
Adrienne stood there speechless. Where was he going? Tears started to fill her eyes. She ran into her room and closed the door and cried.
"This is crazy I wish things could go back to how they used to be." Adrienne said to herself rubbing her watery eyes.
"All we fucking do is argue now." Adrienne said to herself once again.
There was a knock on the door. It was Joey.
"Mom where did daddy go?" asked Joey.
"He just went out for a bit." said Adrienne trying to sound like nothing was wrong.
"What a surprise." said Joey sarcastically.
"What's that sweetie?" asked Adrienne.
"Nothing I'm going to go play with my toys again. I was just wondering about dad." said Joey.
It killed Adrienne. Even though Joey was only 6, she thought he had an idea that things weren't exactly perfect between her and Billie Joe. Adrienne just sat there and thought about the argument that happened, and the one's that happened in the past month or so. She started crying again. Then on the night stand she noticed the picture of her and Billie Joe. When they got married. Then the one next to that one, the one of when her and Billie Joe first started dating.
"I'll never forget the first time we met." Adrienne said to herself. She started at the picture and started reminiscing back to the day when Billie Joe and her met.
* Flash Back*
It all started out at a show in Minnesota.....
